2500 IO for all +15? 3000 IO for all +20?
The addition of the new dungeons and this inflated IO completely invalidates anyone who worked hard at pushing in Season 2.
2500 IO for Season meant at least +21s in all keys and that was not easy. and 3000 IO in S2 was top of the line crazy.
2500 IO this season is a joke. 3000 IO (all dungeons +20) is also a joke compared to what you had to do to get 3000 IO in Season 2.
Wouldn’t the simplest and most sensible implementation be lowering the IO gained from each dungeon so that KSM remains at 2000 IO?
Ratings should have some continuity going from Season to Season.

So what? You get a higher score because there’s 2 new dungeons to add to the pool. Get higher than 3000 if you want to flex your epeen?

Does the number really matter that much? Players will be pushing around 4,000 IO if they are really good.

How many people go to 3k io in season 2…?
There’s two more dungeons. It’s really not a big deal. I missed several Tyrannical keys last week and am currently missing a few Fort keys and am very close to 2500.

And now anyone who is half asleep can breeze their way to 2800 just because of “TWO NEW DUNGEONS”.
You know that tormented hero is going to be much higher this season right?
Are you also angry that you were 250ilvl last season but that’s not very good anymore?
2767 was the cutoff for NA Alliance, and I was at 2783.
2767 is going to be different in Season 3 though, because you’ve got another two keys that give you more IO. But each and every cutoff changes as a result. As such, whatever this season’s top 0.1% title is will have a much higher cutoff numerically. Similarly, both Keystone Master and the new Keystone Hero are just going to be 500 higher than their Season 2 equivalents.
It’s literally just a number. I’m not going to get bent out of shape because, at the end of the day, whatever this season’s equivalent of Tormented Hero is will have its floor increased by 500. That’s it.
This is a peculiar thing to be upset about.

I think the crappier part of this is Tazavesh having legit raid mechanics that I dont think belong in Dungeons. The last fight in Gambit is absolutely ridiculous in terms of health pool and the time it takes to kill on Tyrannical. I never did it before M+ though so maybe it’s me.
I’m still waiting on OP to come up with a way to preserve number sense of last season while having two extra dungeons to add to score along with retaining the same point reward scale as last season per dungeon.

I hit 2500 last tier before I quit pushing keys, being upset that people are going to more easily hit 2500 this tier would be, frankly, pretty ridiculous of me.
Exactly my point. Very few but there will be alot more 3k IO this season because of this inflation. So stupid.
But if the bar shifts higher then what does it matter?

any reasonable person knows the scoring is different because there are more dungeons.
if someone can’t comprehend that and gets mad about it, they can try going back to 5th grade math.

You doo realize that was a calculation that they did to get that number. Soo the new title if they do add one will be significantly higher due to the fact 2 new dungeons are here.

If I see someone at 2422 S3, I don’t think “WOW THIS MAKES MY SEASON 2 SCORE FEEL LIKE TRASH,” I think “wow, I can’t wait to see what I push to this season!”
