Thank you Blizzard for finally realizing solo players play this game

For the longest time, even if you played this game the same amount or more as people who raid or do M+, you could only progress your character so far in terms of gear and it just felt pretty bad.

But this expansion Blizzard finally realized that if you are willing to put in the time and effort, but raiding and M+ just aren’t your cup of tea, you should still be able to progress your character and get pretty high end gear. It feels great, it actually feels like I can just play this game without having to worry about hitting a wall and continue to progress my character. I just opened up the Great Vault this morning and I couldn’t believe what I saw, it really shows the change in design philosophy. I can actually complete my Vault! I can’t believe it!

Thank you so much, it feels great and I’m enjoying it a lot :dracthyr_heart:

Thanks for the post, I agree as I play mainly solo play style to fit my scheduled and cannot handle the stress of groups, raiding and other end game content at least I feel the game is fun enough to keep me busy, its appreciated, we pay for the game too, …

world quests like a floral flair for every ram shows they have not changed at all in their old ways.

Why am I fighting every other player for a 60 second cooldown on too few quest targets?
Stuff like this shows they’re only superficially interested in chasing solo player money, not actually committed to increasing the viable playstyles.

As a person who loves mythic+ content, I’m happy for you! I don’t care if you can get the same gear as I do. I love doing mythic+ content regardless.

Yep. Blizz gets a big W on this from me!

Did they make wq’s somewhat relevant again in retail, or something?

They made it so you can complete the dungeon part of the Vault with Heroic or Timewalking dungeons. I no longer have to leave the M+ part of the Vault completely empty, I can actually finish it!

Plus there’s a world content row and you can do delves to complete it. And delves are just fantastic, 10/10 love them as some nice, chill solo content.

Might mess around with it eventually someday. Molten Front is on the horizon, and Dethtilac, and the other rare challenge tames there will be mine once again :slightly_smiling_face:

@Lokubi … See, thats the community spirit … I appreciate your comment … thanks for sharing…

It’s a bonus for everyone really. But I’m glad there’s solo play if I want to get on for a quick 30 minutes. The delves are great, challenging content, the sturdy chests are actually fun to find and look around for, and it actually feels like a game.

So much agree! I love this game! I love this world! But somewhere in the last 20 years group content has become less my bag as it once was, and now I can work on actual endgame instead of my endgame being running oud raids for Transmogs, and I can fill like I’m working for something and have fun!

I agree, i really am enjoying the delves and gearing. also the world quests, i came back late dragonflight from taking a break for years i think last i played was like zuldrack or gundrak or whatever zone and have mostly played solo, some group but mostly solo and the trying to get gear solo was a joke. So this is great and im enjoying it even solo group basic dungeons was ok not great. I really hope they keep making more options for solo players.

“Finally”? What are you talking about. Blizzard has catered to the solo player since Cataclysm. It’s been a very, very, very long time since you’ve actually needed other players to progress through the game. Much to the detriment of the game I might add. Sure, you may not be able to get raid level gear, but if you’re not raiding or doing mythics you don’t need it.

Also, I would argue that even though there’s like 500 other people in an LFR, it’s still feels very much like a solo experience.

I’ll end this by saying that I truly don’t understand why people go to an MMORPG for a solo gameplay.

oh I do a lot of group content. but sometimes I move time zones and cant play with friends anymore or want a casual experience before I go back to mashing my keyboard in arenas or m+.

options are good. diversity is good. nothing is lost from you when we have content.

A solid 6 out of 9, there is room for improvement but the concept is solid. Give us more Blizz we appreciate the effort.

Completely disagree, and there’s rumors that TWW player numbers are at an all time high.
