Thalassian Translation: "Child of the forest"

Hello. This is pretty nerdy of me but I just made a blood elf demon hunter and I’m having trouble thinking up a name. I ended up consulting various wow wikis to figure out the translation of ‘child of the forest’. I came up with the name Dorenothas, which sounds pretty good but is not a perfect translation. I know some Thalassian words often include a prefix if the word is used on its own or not, but there doesn’t seem to be a Thalassian word for ‘of’. So Dorenothas literally translates to ‘child the forest’. I wouldn’t guess that the ‘the’ would include an ‘of’ prefix because ‘the’ is not a verb or noun. Let me know what you guys think, and if this is the closet I can get to a one to one translation.

You could always change it to “forest child” if you wanted a literal translation/name.

Not sure how that would sound though.

I think you should have dorei as the ending of the name, not the start of the name. Like sin’dorei is chidren of blood, kaldorei is children of the stars. Elven languages dont seem to follow English word order.

Wowpedia says thas’dorah means valor of the forest and thas’alah means light of the forest, so we can deduce that thas=forest. So child of the forest should be thasdorei.
