Tfw you don't have a consistent enough schedule to join a guild and hate pugging

Another expansion of LFR and occasionally attempting M+, and having the group fall apart after the first death

Join a guild that raids super casually. Those types of guilds have raid days and times but end up switching people depending on who want to/can come to that raid night.

Everyone talks about these guilds but I have never seen any where this actually happens

Maybe an MMO isn’t for you then and there’s no use trying to force it

I wasn’t in a guild in BFA and got aotc + all 15s timed pugging. Oh I didn’t read all of the title whoops.

I’m living the pug life and absolutely hating it.

Oh it is very possible to push higher keys, but boy oh boy does it ever suck. One mistake, or one wipe or whatever and everyone is passive aggressive (or just aggressively) angry and stomping their feet.

Gameplay is fun, LFR is decent enough, just literally zero challenge lol.

I can never remember what TFW stands for.

That feel when

I agree it’s hard to get into a M+ as a dps without a guild. LFR hasn’t been so bad if I just stick around until all the weak players give up and leave and we get some new recruits to take advantage of the 5% stacking buff.

Maybe the challenge is getting over whatever it is that makes you hate pugging, since a bare minimum of social interaction is required for an mmo

Single wipe and the run is over 99% of the time and dealing with random people on Discord is annoying af

Never a fun time, always a disaster and almost always a waste of time

You mean everyone who doesn’t belong to a mythic raiding guild and raid with that team should just quit? Are you not aware that would actually be very bad for the game?

Actually it’s not. “MMO” means “massively multiplayer online”, not “mandatory minion obedience”.

As a non meta dps without an active guild pugging the raid first week was not fun.

I went 8/10 N 1/10 H, which I certainly won’t complain about but every single one of those kills was with different group. Plus another 5 or 6 groups that i didn’t kill anything with.

This week was slightly better, only took 5ish groups to go 10/10 N.

M+ I’ve barely even tried yet. Week 1 i Got a bunch of twos done for the great vault choices but I never got accepted into anything higher.

I’ve got 2 5s done this week but it takes forever to get a group. If I had a dollar for every decline I could easily double my current hourly pay…

I’m in one. The only expectation is that if you’re online at our raid time and have expressed a desire to raid—you raid. That’s it. No other expectations whatsoever.

They’re out there. Just takes some searching.

Me too! I imagine that these guilds would be more popular, maybe having a raid every X at Y o’clock, and letting whoever wants to come attend. Because for Normal and Heroic, you can have between 10 and 30, yes? So if you have about 15 or so regulars, this would work in theory. I haven’t seen many guilds doing this, but instead, I will whisper the GM and they tell me that you have to have good attendance if you join the raid team (non-mythic).

For clarification: I understand the importance of good attendance in a mythic raid team - I was in one before and when people didn’t show, there wasn’t much that could be done. But I imagine that it would be fine to take whoever wants to come for Normal and Heroic since it doesn’t flex.

Made me giggle. I agree completely!

Find a M+ community.

? I’m in a guild that brings along the casuals that aren’t always around. Sounds like you guys just enjoy yelling at men made out of straw.

The only thing required in an MMO is having an internet connection.
