Now that a lot of people have better video cards, I think it’s time to increase the size of textures used on bigger models. The texture size used for Rezan is so small that you can easily see each individual texel. The texels are about 4 or 5 pixels wide.
Calm down, blizzard is an indie company and don’t have the resources to make such a change.

Nah, the resolution is fine. Not every game needs to have per pixel texel density. I’d rather not having WoW’s installation size ballon up to 500gb…
its definitely a thing that would be only introduced for a new expansion and onward, stuff from previous expansions unaltered
Right, that’s what they’ve slowly been doing with each expansion. They have doubled up texture resolution on more and more things. Just look at some of the armor and weapon models from vanilla with their 64 to 128^2 textures(not sure if they actually are, but probably close) that belong on a Nintendo 64 game. The game has come a long way.
I rather keep playing wow with max texture size, that loosing half of my fps if they made them like 4k or something, or make that optional lol
