Testing Same-Faction Battlegrounds in Burning Crusade Classic

Nothing in that says “conflict” but rather “identity”. Entirely different concepts.

This is the funniest thing I’ve read this entire thread. Come over to Whitemane, I’ll show you a good time.

Why would I transfer to a garbage server with garbage players? Typical rogue response “Come 1v1 me bro”. Get a life.

This is an epic joke right? Like the while game is based on faction vs faction, and now you are removing that? Lol

WOW THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

How could blizzard try to make queue times fair between factions!?

EVERYONE knows that playing as alliance means you get quicker queue times and easier routes to PVP gear. This is totally unfair and I will kill every horde I see who thinks that queues being equal is fair!

raises fist

FOR THE ALLIANCE

Has the alliance faction collapsed* yet?
is it a horde premade?

but most importantly

are your identical racials destroying your ability to enjoy the pvp?

If maintaining the faction conflict wasn’t important, then they would have made this change to retail years ago. The original devs didn’t because they understood the backbone of Warcraft.

It’s not Warcraft anymore if Horde can just fight themselves in BGs all day, which is what it will be within a few weeks.

“But the division between Horde and Alliance has been such an integral part of World of Warcraft.”

Spin it however you want. The factions and their subsequent “division” are an integral part of WoW.

idk but i doubt it

nope, pug v pug

of course not

i actually didnt realize it was even horde v horde until a few minutes in XD

AQ War Effort is the only time Horde and Alliance work together.

Alliance and Horde don’t work together to defeat Illidan or Arthas. What you smokin’ bro?

So there were never orc faction wars?

20 years later, Orcs vs. Humans has become. . .

Orcs vs. Orcs and (very) occasionally vs. Humans.

Cool.

Niiice

But only because it benefits the horde

Had it benefited the alliance it would never have been a thing

I mean, the alliance trolls on here keep complaining that this removes any reason to play alliance but if the issue is that the alliance players exist (ie. ~45-55 split A:H on average) but do not PvP – which is why the queues are so bad to begin with, how does this affect them?

Right and No orc Clan/faction ever waged war with another orc clan/faction.

trying for another gold medal mate?

“Get a life” says the forum troll insistent on commenting on both someone’s opinions and worth as a player.

LOL. That’s a fun game, can I try?

I don’t need to 1v1 you. I’ll kill you first since priest is free kill, then you can watch as I take out your farming partner that makes you feel safe in the big scary open world.

How about instead you do some server merges. Playing on a server that’s become 90% horde isn’t fun and making it so I can PVP my own faction doesn’t solve the balance problem.

I play Classic because I want to play the way the game was in classic.

Really takes away from the classic experience

The Aldor and Scryers were the main driving force behind stomping out Illidan, and that was the first time we broke faction barriers to work with an entity that was basically just pro-Draenei or pro-Blood Elf.

The whole point the Argent Tournament was the Alliance and Horde getting together to send their best of the best against Arthas. It was a joint effort, even if Gunship existed.
