They took that data from the 4 day weekend when the hvh was going on. So moree of the casual and hardcore horde were queing bgs as much possible. The fact that it isn’t 70-30 in alliance favor it even tho it was more or less just anther weekend for them, show that even when most of the horde player base is away the alliance is still out numbered. in the world. horde on pvp servers seems to just play more often then alliance players so their in the world for longer, so their always more of them about. horde have casuals too but not as many as alliance it seems.
Horde has too many on pvp come pared to alliance most of the time.
And alliance has too many on pve comared to horde.
This what we call imbalanced servers weather or not the alliance or horde have the upper.
Ignoring the “data” point from blizzard about opposite faction BG win ratios, with me being on a PvP server which are pretty much all dominated by the horde - what I explained to you is most likely the norm. So if that’s the case, do you honestly think HvH BGs will have any noticeable effect on griefing near meeting stones?? Heck no, and I experienced no change at these sites while HvH BGs were active. It was a made up data point to cover their asses. It was insulting, really.
Lol i always love when someone says its 50/50 without the numbers. 2 and 2 is 50/50 as is 1 million and 1 million. Also interesting that this is being used as a metric for faction balancing.
Also lol 50% when facing the other faction. Can we see the number of games played again without numbers percents are useless. It could of been 100 games a vs h and 10000 same faction games.
Either way any company that gives percent without numbers is not telling complete truth but enjoy the new bg queues.
The last thing I’m going to say is pvp is thing we all signed up for when we pick pvp servers. I just doesn’t feel good whenever I get attacked it always 2 or more on 1. and looking around for backup and I just see more horde around me.
I’m not paying to test your game for you Blizzard. Sorry but you just crossed that line and this isn’t TBC anymore. Thanks for the attempt but you also lost me for Wrath now too.
True don’t forget a lot of alliance that do que seem premade because they still get fast ques.
permades SHOULD FIGHT only OTHER Permades btw.
and these casual horde most of been getting farmed by the horde and alliance permades they were running into. boosting alliance win-rate % up and horde % of win-rate down because queing in most into instant loss.
ding ding ding we have a winner!
“While we don’t plan to re-enable it again over the next few days”, plans can change, please re-enable them.
ok now buff honor gains ty
Oo, yes, this is the best part of anytime Blizzard does something to make players unhappy.
MY ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE TRUMPS ANY OFFICIAL DATA
It literally says the answer to your question in the quote.
Also, to the blue, if queues are short, the horde will be in BGs more than out killing alliance so it’s not a surprising statistic that ganking reduced during that weekend, nor is BG wins being 50/50 all that surprising either.
What you’re completely missing in some kind of miraculous naivety is what this will do for alliance recruitment and general population imbalance on most realms (and what it already has done before you’ve even done anything). Spouting off “overall” statistics that completely ignore the state of specific realms is about as unhelpful as it gets in this circumstance.
Yeah, I misread… Need more coffee.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have no good games to play. I just want to pvp in tbc like the old man that I am.
The thing with the faction deaths thing is that the servers are already so imbalanced that there are basically no alliance to kill on a significant portion of those realms, the data comes too late, the people are already long gone. There are 60,000 horde recorded on the logs and roughly 10,000 of them are on realms that have less than 10% alliance on them
Yeah i’d love to transfer to a ‘balanced’ server but their lack of fixing balance leaves me to believe that it is only a matter of time before that one is imbalanced too.
In 6 months time (perhaps even less) there will be no balanced servers, you are best staying where you are, netherwind, benediction and possibly whitemane will be the alliance hubs and all the rest will be horde servers, identically to retail.
That’s surprising that’s its identical to retail considering they have cross realm on in all PvP zones.
Gotta love how they made sure to include the part about winrates
They KNEW alliance were going to come in with their hyperbolic claims like “alliance lost 99% of games during the weekend”
Its funny how people try and lie to create narratives for the angry mob echo chamber to latch onto when blizzard can clearly see you’re all lying
And of course you have the inevitable “fake news” types that deny everything that doesn’t fit their confirmation bias
it includes alliance premades aswell which is probably the majority of the alliance faction queueing tbh, when i play horde i hit endless alliance premades, far more so than i do when i play alliance vs horde
