Testing Adding Damage Reduction to PvP

Let’s say the stamina boost for PvP is increased to 50%. Where is the problem?

Or is it because most of the damage reduction proponents are players of classes that benefitted disproportionately? :thinking:

So every fight you get into the enemy allows you to stack up sniper training get a lock n load proc and then stands there and lets you kill them?

If you aren’t able to blow someone up in this current state and struggled so much with healers I honestly think you might be using the wrong rank abilities

Bro you are playing 2h melee hunter with spirit bond… It’s pretty obvious why you like the damage nerf. And I have no issue killing healers when a 50% damage nerf isn’t in the game. I am just trying to get yall to explain how it feels good to fight against healers when no damage can be done

Yep, shadowmeld works wonders, juggling fire/frost traps cooldowns lets you lock n load every chimera shot cooldown, and sneaking a 5 seconds sniper training in a big fight is not hard at all if you know your positioning well

So basically you are fighting bots that ignore you. I like how everyone in favor of the nerf just always has a perfectly ideal situation 100% of the time with no deviations and its 1 button pressed and anyone any class is just globald so we just have to have a 50% damage nerf.

Well sod armory shows you with some goofy hybrid bm/surv spec using kang the boarcapitator

Shaman alt, Hunter main. And the shaman felt way stronger with the 50% damage nerf because I could not die unless a geared rogue was stun locking me.

Being a rogue this past weekend in BGs was depressing. Do not bring this back!

You don’t play MM hunters so you don’t know how easy is to kill people and how often the “perfect” situation you said comes around

Also, Aimed Shot is just a plus, we can burst anyone without it just fine

Abd as I said earlier, either way for me is fine, although the burst meta is fun for my class, I still liked the outplay potential more with the aura on

Must be from leveling for soloing things, I have dual talent and just used my new one and left that, plus I have multiple characters and multiple specs, I liked it on all of them

Don’t mind them, they dig into your character when they have nothing left to argue about.

Just ran a few BGs as a healer. It’s tough out there, but manageable. One game we almost lost to a team without a healer, so there’s that. I wonder how different it would be if I was just another DPS. I got bursted down a lot, the usual experience before the Damage Reduction test.

I liked when I had time to heal people before they got bursted within a few moments. I only have one instant heal ya know.

I played a rogue and the damage reduction was wonderful as many other rogues found as well. Sorry, but it sounds like you need to L2P, there is more to playing rogue than mutilate and envenom.

The damage reduction in pvp is a move in the right direction. since having added so many new stat items, the dmg outweighs the health pools.
Trying to fix pvp in P2 with a stamina bonus in PVP was a lazy approach. So im glad we’re testing the DR.
In my opinion, the damage reduction is needed, but i think the values arent lining up with healers currently, perhaps a 33% DR? And correct me if im wrong but was the +Stam Buff also rolling during the DR trial?? Making it twice as long of a fight. Try the DR with the original stam and it might even out.

THANK GOD ITS GONE it was the single worse change to classic you could have done, if people suck at classic pvp and dont know how to fear or manage a 2 decade old game they can transfer FOR FREE now to PVE servers, THANK YOU SO MUCH for getting rid of that garbage nerf
