as a sub rogue i feel like my spec may as well been removed from the game after this change. i have no words. i feel like ive been betrayed by these devs. pvp was the only reason i am subbed. if this change stays im gone and i mean it
Itās all fun and games till you meet a priest healer who actually knows what theyāre doing, you just canāt win, itās literally impossible in AB at least
Iām glad that most people donāt know what theyāre doing in bgs, but if eventually you meet a priest healer who know what heās doing, itās just impossible, you can outman 3:2 or 7:4, maybe even 2:1, thereās just no counterplay on equal skill
I farmed 37k honor after the tweak, BGs nonstop, althought every other healer that knows what theyāre doing are very strong, they CAN be countered, priests just canāt
that said, Iām enjoying the damage tweak a lot, the outplay potential is back again in most cases
I think the damage reduction is fine (though they should also reduce healing as well if theyāre gonna do it this way). The problem is they went overboard with how much damage reduction they added. Maybe tune it back up a lil bit.
I hated phase 1 PvP, and I was scared of any more damage reduction auras, but this really isnāt that bad.

This is a terrible solution. Healing is way overpowered now, and paladins are an even bigger imbalance than before. Any chance you had at making them pop bubble early is gone. This is a lazy āsolution,ā and if the devs actually care about PvP balance, they would take a more nuanced approach to all the massive changes theyāre constantly putting out. They only think of PvE when buffing classes to the extreme and go into panic mode after. I would still love to know the logic behind the recent buffs to spriests, paladins, hunters, and druids.
The way you know theyāre not actually āworking hard behind the scenesā is the complete lack of transparency at Blizzard. Why not show us all the statistics on the data you collect? They also never tell you the reasons for chat bans, temporary bans, etc. I got a copy/paste LITERALLY 4 times when I opened a ticket simply asking why I was muted for a week. I opened a BBB complaint, so letās see if that goes anywhere.
Cant speak for anyone else but druids got a 10 percent dmg buff which is great in PvE we needed it you can check logs to see that statistics are better than feelings ā¦but i agree with literally everything else you said and you play a mage with literally the most CC in the game as well as a current ability called arcane surge which 100 to 0s someoneā¦ so if were talking pvp druids are not OP we haveā¦root lol which warriors can break pallys can break rogues can break P.S. DRUIDS NEED TYPHOON!!!
Shouldāve did 50% heal reduction as well because now healers are unkillable. Just like phase 1.

Been playing Paladin since day one, the ability to āGlobal,ā anyone would only ever occur at a massive gear mismatch and the stars align, because our damage is heavily dependent on obtaining a crit to trigger vengeanceā¦ or you are Reckoning/SoC build, which is absolutely not viable at this time given the lack of supporting talent points.

I play a Nelf MM hunter and an Orc Enh shaman, both only PvP focused, no PvE whatsoever
What I noticed, apart from the obvious that both healers and hybrid classes got an indirect buff, in my humble opinion, enh shamans were the bigger winnners comparing only to paladins
I tested enh shamans āextensivelyā (for 4 hours?) lots of builds, sets and runes, and what I found is that a WF/WF + riptide + lava lash for maelstrom procs, I just didnāt die, no matter what class came across me, I just didnāt dieā¦ in a 1v2 situation without a hostile healer Iād win, 1v3 itās impossible tho if the skill level is on par
enh shamans who really know what theyāre doing just wonāt die
of all things I tested after the tweak, I found enh shamans are the best spec to shut down healers in normal battleground
paladins sure are great in the first BS clash in AB, but you canāt rely on a 5 min cd every single skirmish

yea, man, I donāt know much about druids, but what I found is that the outplay potential is finally back in pvp, Iām really enjoying
as a MM lonewolf hunter I found it was the most indirect nerfed gameplay, besides massive group pvp, thatās where we shine.
that said, Iām enjoying the challenge, now that other classes have a chance to close distance, I actually have to press buttons, and oh boy, the outplay dopanime is incredible
