I just recently came across a Kickstarter campaign with a plush line called “Tentacle Kitty”. This was my first introduction to the toys and I think it’s pretty cute how they have 4” tentacle kitties that can be dressed up in various RPG roles like bard, healer, barbarian, etc. and the kickstarter is also offering 9” “encounter” plushies like a kobald for your team of tentacle kitty adventurers to pretend to fight against.
It seems to have the same vibe as Beanie Babies for anyone who remembers those. I’m kind of becoming obsessed with these cute little plush dolls. Apparently the line has been around since 2014 and I just never heard about it. Although, to be honest, I probably wouldn’t have been that interested in them until this new RPG theme.
My family will probably be judging my life choices with how much I’m spending on the kickstarter. They’re just cat heads with tentacles instead of bodies. Very cute, though. Started refreshing eBay every so often in case there are some older, discontinued tentacle kitties I want.
