I just do my guy as a theme, such as Twillight or TImewalking.
I use clefthoof or core hound as tank pet.
Spirit beast (I have a crab) for raid, M+ and pvp too.
Is in your opinion ferocity pet with mortal wound better than survivability of spirit beast for pvp? As pvp I mean random BGs, WPvP. I am not doing arena.

You want Cunning for PvP as you also get access to Master’s Call. Hyenas, Raptors, and Rodents are the main options. Silithids are also a possibility as their increased movement speed and slow means they are difficult to shake off.

Spirit Beasts tome anyway besides Clefthooves, are the best Tenacity Pet just because of the hot and cleanse.
Core Hound is my go-to for anything solo. Leech + Molten Armor makes them impossible to kill. Spirit Beast for group PvE for that wonderful spirit mend, health %, and dispel.
If I’m feeling saucy and PvP, survival with my boar all day. Mmmmm freedom.

It doesn’t matter what pet you use. If your pet is dying then you are pulling too much or forgetting to keep mend up.
If you use the AC talent then it doesn’t really matter if your pet dies because the companion will hold aggro while you channel revive.
Depends on the situation in when your pet dies. mend pet has a cd, so if your pet loses more health than is healed, then he’s dead.
How do you use Spirit Shock with a Spirit Beast is it passive? (pet uses it itself)
Its not automatic, you have to use it yourself.
