Temporarily disable ret?

WoWarenalogs listed it with the lowest win rate dps above 2.1k at somewhere between 43-45% in rss, below even enhance but around 50% below 2.1k. It was playable. No dps last patch was unplayable. But it was probably bottom 2-3 dps specs.

lol they do need some tuning I have to agree but hopefully not straight up 33% nerfs, that’s not fun for any spec… I’m not on board with having crazy overtuned specs for months like spriest, dh, rogues but I can get on board with some nerfs just keep the consistency between balancing the best specs in a timely manner

I have a book all you ret haters need to read…

I mean, right now youre trolling yourself if you are not queuing with a ret or are a ret yourself, as your win rate vs any ret team that you dont vastly outskill/outplay will be 0%.

The damage is simply unhealable.

My solution is to simply not q while a fix comes in.

Dont forget an over all 3 point drip in average IQ.

Ret is definitely much, much stronger than it was but it felt fine going against one. It’s similar to fighting against an arms war, DH, feral, or rogue. It did NOT feel ok going against 2 rets. The amount of sustain while producing very high damage was a bit absurd. They don’t need to be nerfed extremely hard but some adjustments would be good for the game and most rets wouldn’t notice THAT much of a difference.

None of the nerfs I proposed aside from Fading Light reduced ret’s passive healing.

I’ll take rets like this than assassination 2 months ago

Just embrace your inner FOTM. That’s what WoW is and always will be.

I would be totally cool with these changes. Nobody really likes 4 pt spenders on ret and the only reason we’re taking it is due to the high dmg. The interaction with JV, Inquisitor’s Ire/Empyrean Legacy, and BoD is too much. Take that away and rets will still be strong, but won’t be too oppressive, while still maintaining utility and survivability.

Or we could just not queue until they fix it. Which is what I will be doing.

Another healer gone

Thankfully, the majority of the healers quitting are outside of my rating range, so I’m relatively unaffected. Thank you for your service up to now.

as dps queue is really really long even more than usual. so you arent the only one a bunch of people left pvp.

omg these idiots.

Shadowpriest counters ret

Lol this site tells the story, 1400 and below Ret is slapping these people and they are 95% of the ones crying, start creeping up and Ret’s winrate becomes lower and lower, strange. It’s almost like Ret is good at beating people who suck.

I definitely appreciate the feedback on what people feel would be good nerfs.

However, i think the issue isnt quite as simple as just “fixing” things and likely requires a thoughtful response.

To be clear, i think ret could stand to use some buffs from where it was at (not a ton, but some) prior to 10.0.7, and while it is grossly overtuned and needing of nerfs, i dont want to see it gutted into inviability.

However i do think it needs a change IMMEDIATELY or the entire ladder is going to get screwed. Quite literally at all levels, but especially the highest, rets are inflating by 4-800 cr in an already deflated bracket.

Do we think its okay to temporarily ret from qing rated arena so blizzard can actually make a good and thoughtful balance fix that doesnt feel forced?

Yeah, people totally suck for not being able to stay alive through 2 globals.

Whack-a-mole target swapping?

Either the dampening and/or MS effects kill the pally’s healing, or the pally burns his CDs on everyone else.

at this point its a little obvious the ways in which blizz manipulates its player base into always spending money
