Just want to say there is another strat that works too. You can pick up the orbs, for the love of sargeras, if I see another 2700 lobby with 3 hunters with 0 picks I’m gonna start queuing tank again.

another PSA:
In Blitz, you actually get a lot of points just being alive instead of being in the middle, in comparison to the regular BG. So being alive > being in the middle
Like 6 pts (anywhere) vs 8 pts inside the circle

What’s crazy is these hunters don’t realize you get a buff from carrying the orb.

Nah, they’d prefer the melee to pick them up. Arms has no business grabbing an Orb… but here we are, letting the squishy one get squishier.
I actually got into an argument with a teammate when I asked people to do this before the doors opened. He was adamant that no one listen to me about the orbs, and focus on killing their FC’s + holding the middle. He told everyone to check his achievements because his rating was all that was needed. Of course we lost by about 150 points, and 4 of the 8 of us never picked up an orb. 1900 MMR
the real fun is being the only surv hunter in the lobby but having more orb points than the other 4 BMs and MMs combined
my poor pet has to put in work on the stairstep machine
Just had a 2400 mmr game where I had 576 points earned, next highest on our team was 96. Sucks when you are doing everything right to win, but the blitz lottery just decides you are going to lose.
