Temple of Kotmogu and Orbs

Perhaps it’s just me but as of late I’ve noticed excessive stacks of the debuff from carrying the orbs yet those carrying them can survive getting focused and healed through like it’s nothing.

Granted the absorb traits on the azerite gear don’t help, especially when a class can use class / spec specific damage absorb spells as well.
It gets to be stupid at a certain point.

The mechanic associated with the orbs seems like it needs to be retuned and the debuff possibly increased as well.

Considering in BGs they’re nerfed to essentially being pointless, you’re right.

I mean even with almost no stacks I’ve practically one shot orb carriers with chaos bolt.

The problem I’m running into is people being near unkillable between absorbs and healing. It feels like the absorbs aren’t nerfed down and / or the healing isn’t being decreased by the debuff, especially when I see multiple people on someone.

This isn’t an issue in Twin Peaks or Warsong Gulch, that I’ve noticed. When the decrease takes affect, you can tell.

Regardless of what faction I play, I’ll take the deserter debuff on Kotmogu at this point.

Huh… get the berserker buff, pop a saltwater potion and delete the orb carrier.

I dunno, the only time I ever see it as an issue is when flag holders are popping major defensive CDs. Other than that they die WAY faster than waiting for debuff stacks in the other BGs you mentioned.

I often times kill temple of kotmogu flag carriers before they even get in the middle, so I dunno.
