Templar Prot - Infinite Hammer of Lights?

Anyone else have a bug where you can repeatedly cast Hammer of Lights on Templar Prot?

Definitely not just Prot … but I noticed not too long ago I can cast it WAYYYYYYYYYY more often than yesterday.

Not infinite, but definitely at least triple the amount.

Something is broken.

I was just making a bug report about this. It’s like that for ret too. You can wake, use hammer and build back up to 5HP to use hammer again. I also had a bug where as prot, I hit eye, used HoL about 5 times (correct HP usage) Then 2 secs later my eye of tyr just switched right back to HoL, and I got another 5 shots out of it (for this one I swear at least one of them was free, I didn’t check my lights deliverance stacks though)

Like, it was always just the single hammer of light and then the icon would switch back right? I haven’t been gimping myself this entire time by not using multiple HoL’s?

Edit: Just for funsies, I went to a pvp training dummy as prot. I managed to sustain 700k dps for about 15 seconds.

Noticed it a little while ago, and went looking on the hotfixes notes to see if that was intended, i just casted HoL 3 times in a row while farming :rofl:

Yeah, it looks like they changed it (not sure if intentionally) that the ability to cast it stays up for the full 12 seconds after activating it, instead of just being a one time thing.

It also seems to be working with DP… feels too good to be true. Sadly.

definitely not just prot. Just noticed it on my ret. It used to be, after wake of ashes, hammer of light would appear, i would use it, and it would go back to wake of ashes. Now it stays as hammer of light for the full 12 secs, so as long as i can generate enough HP, i can keep hitting it. Same for when it procs, it remains for the full duration so it can be used multiple times.

Not sure if bug, but i like it :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah came here to see if this was an intended hotfix… because its fun AF right now… just dropping hammers like freaking crazy on ret.

It’s pretty funny cause with SW you get 2 HP for judgement. Also for prot, HoL costs 3HP instead of 5. Throw in DP, and prot might be able to outdps ret with this bug in ST.

It should stay that way… because it’s way too long of a CD. other tanks are ahead of pally in M+ rankings now. this will boost Pally for M+

It feels like I just went from 87 to 93 octane. Please be intentional because ripping like 4 hammer of lights during Radiant Glory’s crusade is the greatest rotation of all time.

It’s definitely a bug as it makes the whole 60 stack thing kinda pointless :joy:

It wouldn’t surprise me if this was supposed to be testing for something in 11.0.5. It doesn’t seem entirely OP, it still spends 5 Holy Power when you cast it again, so instead of building/spending on 3hp spenders, you build back up to 5hp and spend. It’s actually kind of fun to be honest, haha.

nah because when you get to 60 stacks you have 12 more whole seconds of hammer of light, I’ve come off hammer of light and have had like 3-4 sec left on wake CD after ripping hammers for 12 seconds.

Look my man I agree it’s super fun. I wouldn’t mind if it stays this way but the balancing is wack.

I will just make bad pallies get instant killed even more often since they will have 0 sotr uptime. Dps legit though!

I doubt it’s intentional, but Light’s Deliverance isn’t useless, because it makes your next Hammer of Light free.

They finally fixed prot! Infinite Hammers! SO FUN!!!
