AoE seems great sorta, but single target still seems lots behind some classes maybe its just me or something but just wondering how others feel that play Ret not those who just troll the forum lol.
Ret is weak insingle target -thems just the breaks for now.
Ret does have 45s waves of dmg while other classes need 1m30s or 2m. Ret can get good overall dmg while losing out on bosses and single target pulls like the elites from ToP. Just try any use your cooldowns liberally and hold them if needed, but realize your job is probably to seek overall dmg rather than being top dps during each boss.
Why do you say 45sec?
You’re running ES so nothing to had there.
If you want a bit more ST, you can drop Searing Light for Rush of Light.
SL isn’t all that good because of the ICD.
Empyrean Legacy is an OK in between that helps keeping DH up as well.
You still have a 665 weapon, you should probably go for a crafted weapon tomorrow.

Do you run your current build in Mythic Plus? I know it looks like raid build but not sure.
No, I think I was in raid build when I answered.
If you check now it should be what I usually run in M+.
I’ve also been memeing around in some of my last keys with JJE.
In keys, I sit at about 1.8mil ST with good RNG and procs.
Without lust and crappy RNG, I sit at about 1.5-.1.6. That’s without odd boss phasing though.
I run full AOE build tho.
In 12-14’s, I’m generally on par with everyone else, with overall usually identical to others, unless I die a few times.
But I do find Ret to be A-tier. Not S just because we don’t have this massive 30mil spike aoe burst.

If they ever uncap Rets AoE we are going to immediately become S tier in M+
