Why did it hit me for 452,675 damage? (I’d post a screenshot, but IDK how).
According to WoWhead:
Tempest Stormshield
Absorbs 18112 damage.
Explodes for (18112 / 2) Nature damage and an additional (18112 / 2) over 15 sec upon expiration.
I don’t get the math. I just want to know why it hit for nearly DOUBLE my health.
what key level is it. This week is fortified so this mob gets a damage boost depending on key level.
It also means your party didnt focus on damaging the shield before it goes off if it did that much damage to you
Going off of OP’s r.io page, key was an 11.
Sounds like they didn’t focus the shield, and it exploded and killed them.
Yes, it was an 11 RLP.
But Fenrir also hit me for 417k using his claw frenzy (in a 9 or a 10).
I don’t think the numbers are right.
Claw frenzy is a soak and does split damage, so the rest of your party was not doing the mechanic properly.
No surprise there. 
Lots of laziness in dungeons recently because everyone seems to be focused on being the highest dps.
“Oh, look. A giant, molten boulder that will explode if it touches me. Eh. I can get off another cast or two befo— Why am I dead?!”
My guildmate:
“I hate all this running around! I’m just gonna dps.”
