So, I love Tempest. It’s awesome.
What I don’t like, however, is having to constantly look down at my hotbar to see whether or not I have it before I cast Chain Lightning.
Since Tempest changes Lightning Bolt to Tempest, why doesn’t it also change Chain Lightning so I don’t have to check my hotbar before I use my Maelstrom Weapon charges?
I need to test it out on the PTR but … this might be a great thing for them to track on the new cooldown manager bar.

After a while I’ve just developed that feeling tempest is ready to cast.
I found this annoying as well and it requires a weak aura to make it less annoying
I dont like it replacing lightning bolt, much less replacing both.
Why do you not want it to replace lightning bolt? lol
There’s literally no reason to cast Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning when Tempest is available.
If an enemy is almost dead, use something else to finish it off and save it for the next foe.
If the foe is not almost dead, then holding onto Tempest is a DPS loss if you’re consuming Maelstrom for LB/CL, instead use Tempest ASAP so you can start building up the next one immediately.

If tempest is up while stormkeeper is, I would rather have the option on which goes.
