Recently left a guild because the leader wanted us to “crowdfund” his Fyra’lath and if we didn’t he wanted to limit raid spots to people who did “donate” to him.
The entitlement of some people just blows my mind.

Oh yeah, i never seem to have problems with him, the adds in the room, well people die those more then anything and it is normally a charge then they run off to go fight it where it ran to, instead of just letting it come back to me, as i still have aggro.
That’s absolutely wiiiild. But it’s not unlike what you hear about guilds that still use DKP. Y’all remeber DKP? I remember.
There was a premade group of one Night Elf Druid and a Human Priest. They both decided to break the social contract and cyberbully one of the other DPS players near the end of a mythic dungeon.
I reminded them that the social contract is in effect, only to tick them off even more, so the victim left. And I followed suit.
I was then whispered by the Druid from the other realm to off myself. I’ve sent a snippet to the Priest because they were both part of a same guild.
The hick of a Night Elf was immediately kicked from the guild, and I lol’d. What would make this story even better is if that guy was timed out or banned from the game.
Pepperidge Farms remembers!
BRRUUUHHH that’s all I had for personal keys last week! Went from a rise to a dawn to a rise before giving up and queueing with randos using their keys lol
I wish i was Pepperidge Farms, then i could remember things better.
in general i hate getting scolded or yelled at because we are all grown up people and this is just a game . i joined a new raid group as a holy priest for BT prog in TBC and the raid leader starts yelling at the healers at 11pm why we let people die from promenade sentinel/arcane charge. Next day I dropped the guild
LFR Amidrassil last week. I got pummeled by Gnarlroot but lived. On Igira, the co tank wouldn’t soak her big hits with me. I said, “You need to Taunt”. Followed by “TAUNT!” He casually stated, " Chill man, its only the beginning of the raid." He was holding his taunt for the “right” time. Good times
That happens quite a bit. I ran some LFR tonight for some healer trinkets and a weapon and the other tank just looked at my gear and asked if I was ok to just tank it solo. Most bosses it works out ok.
Other times though its to much damage. Like hitting 58 stacks on Tindral last night. I died about 3-5 seconds before the boss. Though in hindsight I might have been able to survive if I had planned my CD’s better. Granted this was my own fault as the other tank was taunting when they should. I just did to much damage and pulled threat back before stacks cleared.
My worst time was progression heroic Rag in Cata
I was tanking back then that boss when you pulled him would absolutely truck tanks off the rip
Welp for some reason on an extended night so weve been raiding for like 6 hours i just stopped using defensives and would continually flat line
So embarrassing just was falling asleep get brez off the rip try to salvage the pull.
Not really a horror story just a time fatigued funny story lol
