Be careful what you wish for.
Korthia v2.0 inc …
And it’s funny to hear about ppl being bored a mere week after release, when I feel I’m utterly DROWNING in content. lol
Seriously y’all … come on.

I couldnt disagree more. This is my favorite expansion worth of zones weve gotten since WoD. Isle of Dorn is pretty and rivals Grizzly Hills in terms of music. I really like the Ringing Deeps as well. Hallowfall is perfect. Azj-Kahet is the only zone Im not big on, but I still don’t think its bad by any means
I can see it clearly, but so many are in the honeymoon phase that can’t see it. Release an expansion that takes 3 expansions to tell the story. Then make the zones fewer and smaller so it appears its an expansion. Then part 2 we can charge them more and then same for part 3. Since dev costs are through the roof now and console games up to $70 at release we can do it that way and appear to be brilliant developers all the while giving them about the same amount of content they used to get with expansions like Lich King. They will never know and if they do see it the boot lickers will cover for us:P
Personally I’ve found there’s almost too much to do, between all the different factions.
good gods, why would you do that to yourself?
Seems about the same we got in DF.
Next patch we get a new zone and in the 3rd content patch we get the new zone.
Like we got Zaralek Caverns and Emerald Dream later.
We’re frelling underground you dingbat, what did you expect?
Of COURSE we’re not getting only these, were you asleep since MoP? They always add more areas…
Ah, the first step on the road to disappointment.
Then go do something else.
Starting to doubt the player base will last the 12 days until the 10th.
I hope it isn’t another underground zone tho.
Hallowfall is a stand out for myself and many other people as it most accurately depicts the illusion of being in an open, outdoor area.
That said, I don’t have any issues with the other zones. I think they all offer something unique.
Stormheim? Try Suramar you dingus
They need to make the map icons bigger and better. I unlocked an elevator between zones at some point, but now I can’t even find it on the map. GG.
I am very critical but I like the zones and questing, not sure what you mean.
When was the last expansion that we -didn’t- get new zones?
Just for the hell of it, I flew across a few zones with steady flight to see about how big they are comparatively. This is about how long it took to go across the widest sections of each:
Isle of Dorn - 2:30
WoD Shadowmoon Valley - 2:10
Hellfire Penninsula - 2:00
Difference now is that we have skyriding which makes the zones -feel- so much smaller because you can speed past everything twice as fast as you could before. Something I have noticed, though, is that these zones in TWW are pretty well designed to traverse on ground mounts. Basically what I did for most of the leveling, just to actually see the environments…rather than seeing nothing but the skyriding screen effect.
Expansions will generally have new zones added as the story progresses. We had 3 new areas added in DF, and I think every expansion in recent history has added at least one new zone?
Statistically it would be extremely weird if they didn’t add any new zones.
There is no way you’re serious.
Where are you pulling that nonsense. We have the same number of zones as the past 2 expansions and will likely get 2-3 more. Bfa started with 6 they were in total smaller than current expansions but only added a tiny zone and a zone similar to forbidden reach. Nothing is 1/3 of an expansion(which is what you meant rather than 3 in 1 which means more).
I respect that they tried something new and I really think they did what they can to be not just bland as Zaralek Cavern.
But, two years underground is just not for me. Hollowfall is amazing not get me wrong but I still feel claustrophobic.
Everyone do the moleman dance.
