I’m having a really hard time choosing a main for TWW. I just can’t seem to find a spec that I click with.
I thought I’d ask other people what specs they’re having fun with and see if maybe it could help me choose something.
So what specs have you found to be the most fun? Are there any specs that jumped out at you as really well done, or play really well?
My all time favorite is Dracthyr. But there are many that intensely dislike them. lol
Next is difficult. I like my Earthern, but if for raids and mythic might be a bit of a handicap, due to the racials and eating problem.
After that it’s Human.
And this probably doesn’t help you at all. But, here is my 2 cents worth! 
So I have hand tremors that kind of make it hard for me to play classes that rely on me not moving (my hands will click keys for fun sometimes xD) so take what I say with that bias in mind.
DPS:
My favorite class as of recently is Evoker (Devestation). While the range is short, they feel fun and bursty to me. Plus I like dragons. Win all around. Just had so much fun playing one, still do!
One I’m loving now unexpectedly is Survival Hunter. Fun to harpoon around, throw bombs and traps and I get to keep my fuzzy little companion instead of Old Yellering him like Marksman xD
Healing:
I still love my resto druid. I love the ramp up, being the Bob Ross of raid healing (happy little trees for everyone!).
Tanking:
I uh… I do not tank enough to have an opinion.
I like trying all the classes from time to time though, see if anything sticks out to me. Even if my hands make it hard to play often the fun outweighs the difficulty.
DPS - Surv Hunter (although it’s mostly off spec), Legion Fire Mage (it’s nowhere near these heights but Arcane is supposedly great), both Evo specs
Healer - Prevoker and Mistweaver, without a doubt
Tank - Brewmaster, hands down - Bear Druid a very distant second
Holy Priest 
Enhancement shaman is my love and nothing feels as good as it to me.
Resto drood is my favorite healer.
Brewmaster is my favorite tank, honestly my 2nd favorite spec. But i learned blood and WOW is it awesome. Kinda tied between the 2 i need more time on blood to decide.
Every time I try a different class I come back to FDK
It just makes sense in my head. Clicking with your spec takes time.
Really need to be at end game with all abilities and run through the rotation, speed, mobility
Enhancement shaman is strangely similar, but my actual second preference is WW monk
I like survival hunter. It is great tanking delves with a pet. I like that I can opt out of the long cooldowns and pick the best talents to be my best self the whole time.
Lately I like simpler classes. Paladin, Hunter, Druid are the classes I play.
I’ve been liking retribution Paladin so far. I like all the DoTs and beams and shinies from the Herald of the Sun tree.
I was once a human male carny and really enjoyed it. What’s a carny? Its someone who lives and works at a carnival, those portable amusement parks that pass through your town from time to time that have a Ferris Wheel and roller-coaster and other rides and attractions.
Real life has specs too.
When 10pm hits and all the people go home, the food trailers had big speakers on top which were tuned to a rock or oldies radio station so we all had something to listen to while taking everything apart, I will never forget the night, a news bulletin on the radio told us all Michael Jackson had died.
Enhancement is pure dopamine when you hit proc after proc after proc
Still questioning myself why I waited until my 6th alt to finally start leveling my shaman
Hellcaller gives Destro Warlock an instant DoT which is a big QoL upgrade and as far as spec fantasy goes, Diabolist Demo Warlock is one of the best.
Destro Lock. I will never forget MOP demo tho that was my true love but Diabolist destro is great.
Mountain Thane Fury warrior is up there too but the lightning style mogs for warriors suck minus the brand new set
Elemental with lava burst procs (older).
Windwalker.
Warrior arms.
Warrior gladiator.
Warlock demon form.
Combat rogue (old outlaw).
Get the Paladin tier 15 look-alike
Diabolist Demonology Warlock. Demo is my all time favorite spec in really any mmo. Its visually appealing. I enjoy the way it feels like it ramps up. Its solo play is phenomenal. The spec’s flow just clicks so well, with everything lining up. Just give me metamorphosis back, damnit.
Typically it’s been ret paladins. But honestly neither of their hero talent trees knock my socks off. Nothin bad about them exactly. But they aren’t fun. They don’t add to my gameplay. If anything they detract from it because suddenly wake of ashes is a far more valuable ability and I hesitate to use it at times when I would otherwise use it freely.
I haven’t put much time into it yet, but so far I’d say the most fun I’ve had has been with mountain thane. It looks cool and it doesn’t detract from my gameplay at all. But crucially, it is always there and always in use. The fun part is tied to just regular abilities and not a long cooldown ability. The fun never stops!

Contributing an actually meaningful DPS while also putting out good healing was very satisfying, and needing to work around Ashen Hallow’s long cooldown not quite reaching every burst damage phase was nice from an encounter knowledge standpoint.
