Teleport out options in old content

At the end of dungeons and raids there should be an option to teleport to the entrance, especially in the ones where you can’t escape outside of hearthing or dying. Why this isn’t a thing is beyond me

should be a thing for sure.

And it’s so inconsistent. Like in Legion sometimes you can port out. Malfurion teleports you out of DHT, there’s a portal out of The Maw, Odin ports you out of Halls of Valor, Neltharion’s Lair has an exit and Arcway takes you in a big loop where the final boss is by the entrance.

But you’re stuck in Blackrook Hold :dracthyr_shrug:

I farm Blood of Sargeras a lot for a mount I like to craft and sell, can you tell?

Agree, def should be a thing tbh. Gets real tiring just walking back if i die to something silly. Or if my hearth is on CD. Or if i need a skip.

Be great if i didn’t need to jump off the top of nighthold palace to get out of there. :joy: I feel like I’m slyvanas or something.

At least Mages are good for something.

Another thing to add, teleports to each boss should be around or when you take queues you should end up back right where you left off not at the GY outside of the instance.

Unfortunately not all instances have convenient ways to leave. Off the top of my head, BRF leaves you trapped at the bottom of you don’t kill the boss before he triggers his second phase. A lot of the old dungeons don’t have ways out. SoO also leaves you trapped at the end. I’m sure there are other examples.

The way around it is to create a private group, then once you’re done, leave it. This will trigger the boot count down. Wait for it to end and you will get teleported to the nearest graveyard outside.

um, you can click the eye icon when you queue for random, and it allows you to teleport out of the dungeon, and when you teleport back, it put’s you at the entrance to the dungeons.

Or are you thinking something else?

The old dungeons are ill equipped to handle newer technology.

It’s nice having the “leave group” option in follower dungeons to fast-exit.

(I wonder if there is a technical obstacle to just adding that as an option for solo dungeon runs?)

edit: as per Ghaztruk’s post above, I just ran the end of the stockade and confirmed that if I queued for a follower dungeon then immediately quit it, I was put back into the world at the entrance of the stockade. Thank you for drawing my attention to that trick.

Talking about running old content? Not queuing? Queueing wasn’t mentioned, let alone for raids?

In Diablo 3, most caves or dungeons had a thing you could click on to teleport to the entrance. I wish WoW would add that.

Farm content on a Vulpera. set camp at front of dungeon/raid.

You can just slowfall off so you dont die.

I use my “jumpback” on my hunter. Yje black parasol from sl can also save you

I also find it annoying ICC has a teleport, but you always get the combat bug and have to jump off to get out (if you don’t want to hearth).

We’ll never get it, but I’d love to learn the why behind the choices from the designers.

Do follower dungeons count against the per-realm instance limit of 10/hour?

Times like this I wish Blizzard would have expanded out on those portal seeds they had MoP.

They should remove all teleports out of dungeons

It would make the game more immersive

Please ignore the fact I can just deathgate out
