Technological Issues

Hello! This is what I said in my ticket but I am not sure

I hope this message finds you all well! I have just been running into some performance or gameplay issues lately and it has been really frustrating as when I am in a group or I come into a different zone sometimes I am hit by an invisible wall or when I am casting spells sometimes I won’t see the spells that are being cast like I main a warlock so when I am casting hand of Guldan, for example, I don’t see it come down for a long period of time. Same with being in the new zone Zereth Mortis I will go to a rare and see people fighting it but I won’t see so I am unable to tag it or I am in a group and I don’t see the other players. I dont know if this is a slow internet problem or if my laptop is having trouble. Unfortunately, I am not a computer guy but I love playing this game and I just wanted to see if there is anything I can do. I play on a HP 14" Laptop, Intel Core i3-1005G1, 4 GB SDRAM, 128 GB M.2 Solid State Drive, Natural Silver, 14-DQ1037wm. I know the videos I gave are from a world boss and I get that there is a lot of lag when it comes to that but I am also having the same issues in raids, dungeons, and just around the world. I look forward to hearing from you all and I really appreciate it!! I have also watched tons of youtube videos and have messed with the in-game graphic setting but nothing is working! I just want to be able to see the spells that I am shooting and see other people’s spells as well!

Thanks so much!!

yeah that laptop spec is imnsho too low to properly play WoW. i would get a new laptop/pc or turn down the graphic settings to 1

Thanks so much for the reply! I will have to try that out tomorrow and see how it runs!

Can also try doing a game repair.l if you can upgrade the ram with another 4gb stick that might help as well but without a dedicated graphics you will always be on the lowest setting.

Your specs are low. That’s just blunt truth, even win 10 alone should have min 8 go ram. But you cpu is a bit under powered as well and 128 gb for a drive is nothing these days.

But like others said try a repair and make sure drivers are updated. Ultimate solution though …get a modern system.
