Curious if anyone has thoughts on it. It seems tear will do more healing in general, but Ancient may be more mana efficient.
I planned on using Ancient since I am already used to maximizing melee time regardless, but channeling Essence font into melee seems counter productive.
If its for PvE its prolly fine, its very bad in pvp now though. Cant say for certain though.
Very sad about what they did to teachings of the ancient monastery from its beta version.
Did mythic tour just trying to fistweave. It was incredibly easy and the most fun ive had healing since WoD.
Did you notice if the heal can crit? Can your attacks crit which buff the damage and then that heal crit as well?
Used it to heal a heroic last night and the heal itself does not seem to be able to crit. Was getting about 10k heals from it with a RSK crit with current gear.

Follow up question: Does it double-dip into vers? Does vers increase the damage and the heal.
It does not gain healing from the versatility, only damage. It is not bad for pvp either. If you use a caststop on your font you can normally fire it off before they kick you and meleeing someone else I was able to keep myself in a healthy hp range in bgs.
Even if your font gets kick you still get the buff and can kick people for healing.
Aye. At one point you had to let the font fully channel but cast stop still gives you the buff after one tick.
The buff doesn’t show up until you stop casting either by getting interrupted, the cast finishing or clipping it.
Wait, fistweaving is viable?
Lol. Yea. I get around 1.5k healing from rem, essence, and fist weaving. Drop brew if necrolord and use jade wind and it jumps to 4K healing. Issues are from having to roll away for healing outside melee range.
I ever use a target of target macro to keep tank healed up. I want to use lessons for my mana regeneration but when crap hits the ceiling I roll back and pop mana tea and go traditional. Is the lessons talent even worth taking as a fistweaver?
It’s very viable imo. Didn’t pay attention but i think it might heal death knights enslaved undead pets. If that’s the case a lot of the healing will be siphoned away from the group.
I think Tear is going to pull way ahead in any sort of a raiding environment.
Yea it will, espiecally since with the bug that applies gust of mist to any target that gets healed by the 20% ENVM part of he legendary. I don’t think that’s currently intended as part of the legendary, if it is that makes it the clear winner, if not and they fix that bug it’ll still be our strongest legendary.
They had me sold on it when they added the chance for it to duplicate Renewing Mist, mimicking Dancing Mist.
I wish the chance was higher, but it’s still a nice legendary. MWs are lucky though, we have a lot of great legendarys, once we can equip two we are gonna have so many cool combos to use.
