What Discord really needs is an easier way to get group members into your vent. Right now it’s annoying and if a competitor solves for this problem, they’ll pull ahead

If you have issues with your vent/mumble/ts3 provider you can get a different one
The question is does anyone use Blizz’s Voice Chat? 
It’s actually pretty decent, but lacks features of an external program.
But it’s used a LOT in OW.

No, it did not, ts3 and mumble are separate programs.
Ran into a rando using it, but that was sometime in Cata? not sure anymore. Just out in the world and suddenly “Hey, can you help me with this quest?” and I’m like “wait, wha? oh. …oh.”

It’s free, the sound quality is a million miles better, and you have WAY more control.
Discord is a much better platform than Vent or TS ever were.

They are separate programs
Just because they call themselves an evolution doesn’t make them so, both programs still exist.
Ummm, it’s super simple.
You can generate a link, post it in chat, and people can jump right into your server.
Unless Blizz decides to integrate something like this into the game, you’re not going to get much simpler than that.

half a potato can figure it out, you can too.
and so can the people getting the link.
the biggest barrier is that people can’t simply copy a link from base in-game chat.
