Outside of the mid fight in WG.
Has blizzard ever mentioned why they haven’t came up with a straight TDM style BG yet? Like first team to 100 honorable kills wins style game.
Technically every BG with resources is a TDM.
Southshore vs Tarren Mill is the purest form of it.
The new BG, Deephaul Ravine is pretty close too. You can mostly ignore the active objectives if you control mid.

Southshore vs. Tarren Mill (Probably the most disliked Brawl.)
Packed House (Probably the 2nd most disliked Brawl.)
Deephaul Ravine (Once the Honeymoon phase is over… the awful will get exposed.)
I’m not surprised Blizzard doesn’t focus on Deathmatch style maps - since they’re mostly just whoever has the most Boomkins/Mages/Warlocks. Playing Melee is less than fun on these maps.

Don’t get me wrong, i prefer the objective based games, my favotire BG’s are AB and WG for sure. However, from a pure honorable kills perspective I’m just surprised there isn’t one in random BG’s. I don’t play too many of the weekly rotational brawl style Q’s so maybe there is one in that mix I’m not aware of.
They did something already with one of their special Battlegrounds before the Battleground Blitz where everyone started in the Nagrand Arena and it was a Horde vs Alliance battle royal! It would be cool if that would continue. If they made other battleground this way then no one would play the objectives (not that they really do now anyway, and then lose as a result).
What I really want to see is a 1 vs 1 mode! Dalaran Gamining hosts these events on Youtube but they should make it an actual part of the game! Those eyes they have in Arena help for players who would try to go invisible forever.

I think a 1v1 arena mode would be cool.
Would it be balanced? No, absolutely not.
Would it be fun as an unrated mode? Yeah, I think it would be.
Just make it 1v1 skirmishes.
As far as team deathmatch goes, that’s what Southshore versus Tarren Mill was and it was awful. It’s just not fun.
There’s that one rotating brawl that pits 15 vs. 15 on arena maps.
2 Problems i see with this are
More premade grave yard camping (not something I want to advocate for)
People not releasing after being graveyard camped
they have the Southshore vs Tarren Mill brawl. I enjoy it for the nostalgia hit but i could see why it’s not very popular. definitely favours range classes.
1v1 would all be rogues
