You are right on the money, and even the money (tip) isn’t such a big deal if you do tip at least something/ Coming from this type of work, we know how it can be when you are a little strapped but you make up for being a decent person to interact with. and the tips will keep coming because you are a repeat customer that enjoys being around our establishment.
I’d take a nice interaction more than an additional 5-10% tip any day of the week.

Well, I wouldn’t have asked for the name if he was so proud to not serve me. I’m just trying to make sure he doesn’t.

Just fyi, I worked in retail too. Both in food and clothing. I know customers can be horrid, however I know employees can be too. I’ve seen some pretty crappy things go down behind the scenes. I’m also a wonderful customer. I always tip above 20%. I even tip 10% if I think there’s a chance they’re just having a bad day and they’re not the jerks they’re showing themselves to be. Service has to be pretty damn bad for me to tip nothing. Hasn’t happened in 10+ years.
But I can’t have this conversation anymore with two people so grossly biased. It’s pointless.
Well, good news, because statistically speaking, the chances of you encountering this person ever is astronomically low

My mother is a hard worker, not only on the backend but is also one of the waitresses. I’m mostly in the back, prepping and making sure the line is stocked throughout the week. I come out at the end of the day to help cook and close the line down, or help out the dishwasher.(I like to call them the sanitation engineer, hehe) We all help out to close down the place at the end of the day, no matter what area needs help the most.
This past friday we were open 2 hours past closing due to 3 other diners in the area closing for the week of the fourth. It was one busy week. I’m just glad they are reopening this week so we can return to some normalcy

Bad service? Just don’t come back.
Modern retail is nothing like how it used to be, much busier and people burn out much more quickly.
It’s honestly better to just let it go at this rate. you can’t reason with these types of people.

No, they actually haven’t.
The Trading Post Spectral Tiger Cubs can’t be caged.
The TCG ones can.
Which means they haven’t added any to the finite amount of Spectral Tiger Cubs that can be traded and sold.
They have not changed the value in it in the least.
Just like when they released the Dragon Kite - the price will drop for a month or two while people have access to it if the people who have the TCG ones choose to drop the price. Then it will go back up if they do. However, the prices of them haven’t gone down on most servers. Because most people aren’t spending almost 1000 traders tender on a pet. And because the TCG pet hoarders learned from the Dragon Kite - since it can’t be caged - the price shouldn’t change.
I’d prolly be just amazed at that point and serve them regardless, unless they purposely just went to cause a fuss.
I give everyone a chance, until they give me a reason not to.
