I’m reporting here as well as in bugs that I logged in to find my TCG Tabard of Flame item completely missing. Thankfully, it seems I still have the appearance.
I’ll also submit a ticket.

Thanks, the first thing I did was check all my banks, the tabard vendor, and item restoration page. Still, it is nowhere it be found 
Then yeah, sadly, nothing can be done here. I believe it is a known bug of items disappearing from bags, so might be worth to just wait for the bug to be fixed, hopefully with Tuesdays maintenance.

I’ve found a similar thread about another Tabard from June… So, indeed, I hope this is fixed soon. In the meantime I guess I’ll mog it onto something else, and see if my ticket yields any helpful outcome.
Edit #1: I’ve made sure to check the banks, Tabard vendor in Stormwind, and the Item Restoration page. I’ll fly to Booty Bay to check if perhaps it can be found there…
Edit #2: I didn’t see that it can recollected from the TCG vendor, rather, it may require using the code again, which I’m not even sure would work.
I’ll just wait on the ticket reply

Same here. logged in yesterday morning, and mine was gone from my main’s equipment.
Still have the transmog. Can’t get it from the tabard vendor, can’t get it from the goblin. It’s not available for restoration.

Same problem, Tabard of Brilliance missing off of my equipped tabard slot! It wasn’t even in my bags. Checked bank, void storage, etc. just vanished out of thin air. I had this before they gave it away for free and it’s been equipped for years. Feels bad being so naked without it.
Blizz support ticket said “can’t help, submit bug report” basically.

Same here - lost all 8 TCG tabards and Epic Purple Shirt. A GM told me via ticket that the devs are aware of this issue and working on a fix.

Hey i had this same thing happen to me. I bought the tabard off the BMAH in Legion, I have had Tabard of Flame equipped for nearly 7 years. It is in all of my Gearsets, so that it doesn’t get unequipped by accident. I have never unequipped it on purpose. It is not vendorable. I’d never destroy it, and if i did, I would be able to remember it, and it is an epic item, so it’d have the text box requiring me to type “delete”. It’d be a hard thing to forget.
I have logs showing it equipped on 08/07/2024, then the next log i have is from 08/14/2024, where it is no longer equipped. I didn’t notice anything until 08/15/2024.
I have made 2 tickets now.
I was given a canned response to use item restoration.
It is not available in the Item Restoration page… Because it was not deleted or sold.
I was then given a canned response… about a quest bug? No idea.
Blizzard CS has gone to absolute [redacted], and it’s incredibly sad to see.
It’s insane that I’ve had to make 2 tickets with 8+ messages just to get 2 responses in 4 days. and both of them being copy/paste answers that just do not relate to my issue at all. It’s incredibly clear that they just did not read my tickets at all.
This is just unacceptable behaviour. They’re just not doing the one single job they have, to read and reply to [redacted]ing tickets.

I’d like to update that a GM at last responded to my ticket, after I clarified it was beyond a regular item restoration issue. The response clarified that the TCG item removal is in-fact a change “working as intended” to accommodate Classic store changes.
I can’t say I fully understand, or agree with this internal decision; however, it’s nice to know we can at least still transmogrify the items from our collection. If anyone has an issue with the latter, then that is definitely something to open a ticket about.
In addition, I’d recommend saving BOTH steps of TCG Card code retrievals, just in case (even though it wouldn’t have helped in this particular case, I figure it’d be nice to have ready to display)

i have had my tabard of flame disappear sometime around Jul 10-14ish.
I have made multiple tickets to chat with GMs and customer service about this. It has been a mind boggling difficult task to get any useful information out of them.
it took 3 tickets over a week’s time to get someone to say it was an intentional dev change.
which is ridiculous.
I have since found that I can log in to my PTR character, on a copy that I made around Season 3 of Dragonflight, and my tabard of flame is just there. Nothing weird about it. Exactly as it has been for the last 7 years.
No new tooltip saying it can be consumed to add the appearance to my collection, or anything.
Important to note, that PTR servers are currently updated AHEAD of Live Servers. so the items are 100% still within the game, and were not “removed as an intentional dev decision”.
I have also seen a tabard of frost on the BMAH tonight on Live Realms. Again, nothing different about its tooltip at all. The item is still there. I don’t have the gold to bid on it and see if it stays, though.
Furthermore, it seems like everyone who has had this issue, of TCG items disappearing, have all had them go at seemingly random times. I’ve seen reports of items disappearing before mine ever left, and I’ve seen reports from after.
This is a really strange thing, not sure what’s happening, but I, for one, will not stop bickering with customer support until my tabard is returned AND I am compensated for the grief they have caused me, the time they have wasted, and for just blatantly lying to me.
This is completely ridiculous, and it very much seems like they are trying to sweep it under the rug and just say “well its in ur appearance collection so its ok”, completely disregarding anyone’s prestige or attachment they may have had to these items they’ve had for years.

I also had my tabard go missing… something i paid for to have equipped on my character… and with no warning it was taken away to make room for a $8 store shop cosmetic?? Not only did i have to wait 7+ ticket answers to finally speak to someone that didnt copy+pasta something not even related to me asking why its gone, but i get “hey its gone forever glhf”
Who thought this was a good idea and why is it not addressed publicly??

Im missing my Rocket Chicken from the TCG, I put in a ticket for a GM and they said that devs are looking into why items are missing from the card game. So it appears to be a bug.
