Tbc yes please

I just wanted to start a discussion on how great TBC was. It was really the best time i’ve had in a game! I was level 45 when TBC was released and I was such a bad player but I learned to tank and made some good friends ( Still friends to this day ) . Prot Paladin tanking was seriously so much fun. I remember that getting that 102% avoidance along with enough spell power to keep threat was an accomplishment on its own! I remember the first time going into Kara and being absolutely mesmerized. I loved the Heroic / Rep farms and I loved the dailies. Seriously stuff I HATE in retail these days I loved back then. I can’t explain why, it was just different… Maybe because it took so long and required a true investment and emotional connection to your characters…

Greatest gaming memories are from TBC.

I personally would like to be able to transfer my character over, but would not mind leveling from 1 again…

What are your thoughts?

I welcome TBC’s role as the gateway to Wrath of the Lich King.

I wanna transfer my char onto a tbc server. Don’t really want to level from scratch.

Im all for TBC but with the exception that people should have to start with fresh level 1’s on new servers or “phase” where you cant see anyone who also isn’t playing on the BC version of that server. If we go the route where you transfer a copy of your 60 to a new BC realm it will allow people to stock up on materials prior to the release. Which is a big economy problem, alternately. if they do the transfer method, i recommend inventory should be wiped prior to the transfer. Or atleast all trade items such as ore/herbs/cloth ECT

I don’t mind removing trade materials from chars transferring but we should be able to bring a certain amount of gold with us.

i can expect a certain amount of gold for sure, but not enough where the kings who already have high amounts of gold will be able to stay kings

TBC is just a gateway drug.

Personally, I’m on the other end of the spectrum. I began playing WoW during TBC and I enjoyed it; but, that changed.

As more expansions were added, it became apparent how much a drudge TBC was. It was painful to play. When leveling alts, I’d do whatever it took to skip directly to WotLK.

I’m truly hoping that Classic will be kept separate from TBC.

with all the options presented in the survey they will most likely keep them completely separate. The most seamless transition i could imagine is this pop up "Congratulations you’ve achieved level 60! would you like to progress to the next expansion? if you choose this option your character will stay here in classic as it currently is but we will create a copy of it on a layer where you can only see other players who have also chosen this option. Disclaimer- all trade materials and gold will not be transferred with your character"

Arthas is dead.
I know, i killed him, but not before ripping Rotface’s lungs out.
Just could not take his annoying yammering anymore.

Of course if i knew then what i know now, i would have killed sylvanis
and stuffed her in a corner in the lab someplace

I am curious if you are referring to leveling in outland vs playing tbc end game? It sounds like you are referring to leveling through outland while WOTLK + was the main expansion. If that is the case, of course you hated it, you wanted to get to the new content.

The possibility of getting another chance to play tbc on legit servers based in NA is 90% of the reason I resubbed to classic.

I also personally think that most of the classic population wants classic tbc and it’s for that reason that I think the classic server you are on right now should progress to tbc with the option of cloning your 60s to another server that would remain vanilla.

Now for the nostalgia contribution, tbc was the absolute pinnacle of gaming to me. Bg’ing with 2-3 friends, turning a battle around when you’re collectively outmatched to eke out wins, late night chain queue arena sessions to make a rating push for weapons or shoulders, or solo chain queuing 2v2 arena skirmishes and having to adapt on the fly not knowing who/what you’re getting paired with/against.

Antonidas TBC horde represent. Any OG’s out there? I played undead rogue named Nihilist.

That is pretty much what most people do, Every expansion.

Knock on wood.

I understand people want to return to TBC. They remember the Kara runs, the novelty of their first reputation grinds, and their initial reaction to the TBC aesthetic. I wish them all the joy they can get.

It’s just not for me anymore.

I totally respect that. It IS for me  . I gave BFA a fair 4 month shot and unless there are some drastic changes to retail I will forever play classic servers. I just feel the true RPG element of WoW was stripped out.

That’s why we need to ensure whatever solution Blizzard decides on gives both crowds what they want. I like the grindiness of TBC and can’t wait for it again, but I can respect those who just want classic due to its accessibility.

We have to wait and see. For what’s worth, I hope you get that option.

i honestly expect to see what i wrote appear lol, just seems like a blizzard option

Of course you … nelf would have killed my beloved queen. I’ll burn down your stupid tree!!!

I don’t get it. There will be no factions everyone will be Orc, Blood Elf, Undead for racials. is this what people want?
