In my experience there is always someone who really wants the belt hahaha but yeah forcing people to go back is the fastest way to lose the top players.

thats why warrior gets last prio for it. It’s rogue actual bis, if you don’t get enough to throw extra’s to warriors the warriors without osg or deathdealer get first mentors.
It’s like, so unbelievably easy to handle these loot issues without dragging 40 people through content nobody needs.
Yep and specifically about recruitment, do you recruit people in blues/greens knowing you’ll have to farm weeks of old content?
And how will that change as AQ and Naxx open up?
Even when naxx is on farm, there’s never enough of the mentors or OSG - since there are just so many warriors
But yeah what is nice on Era is warriors can just join a GDKP (and many MC gdkps always going) and swoop a OSG
There’s enough when your phases aren’t 3 months long lol. In anniversary you just have to accept the 3rd bis option most of the time.
You can literally solo self found a gear set on warrior that’s less than 50 dps behind true bis.
idk this paladin is years old and girdle of the mentor is the last item i need for bis ret - just never drops.

I got my OSG during AQ40 because we were in MC to complete someone’s TFury. It just worked out that way. Think it was the 5th or 6th I’d seen. I finished Naxx with goa and mentor lol. The things I never got were the ring, the trinkets (kiss/slayers), cloak, hungering cold, and chromatic boots of all things lol I actually lost the only pair of chromatic boots I saw in an SR pug to an actual deep prot female tauren warrior, who had 0 hit on their gear before they put them on.
trinkets and hungering cold are def hard to get - can easily play on Era for years and still not have them the demand is so high and especially THC / kiss never drop for months sometimes
I think slayers crest was the most expensive item i bought in a GDKP.

I use the pally 2.5 / the 1 hit fake chromatics from AQ40 when in ret
The fake chromatics were what I picked up to replace my bloodmails lmao. The scholo hit boots were carrying me when I was doing 2k dps on vael
if blizzard hadn’t charged a fee to copy my character I’d be on era every now and then causing problems, I was literally broke though, eating once a day or less to save enough to pay bills and keep my sub going back then.

I just hate leveling. I get to like level 30 and just don’t want to suffer through the next 8 levels of slam gameplay. The warrior conundrum.

GDKPs need to be in the game, if you dont like them dont do them. I quit SOD because they banned them. Its not Blizzards place to ban a loot system that players created. If you dislike gold buying, botting, or RMT. then Ban the people who do it, thats against TOS. GDKPs are not.

How much gear you need from Naxx for that? Just curious since even the sweat guilds were rebuffing for Sapph for the first few weeks.
No idea, but claiming you need wbs to clear naxx is the opposite of being good.
You do need wbuffs to beat sapph, unless your guild has already farmed the raid to get the frozen runes to craft the extra frost res pieces. At the bare minimum you need consumes, especially if you not world buffing.
What’s your point here? The raid you already cleared 6 times with world buffs is easy without world buffs because you already got the gear? Stupid.
You gonna admit you spent weeks hardstuck on sapph cause you weren’t world buffing before you got enough frozen runes? That’s kinda the opposite of being good.
Show me logs of a guild that is clearing naxx without WB - especially ones that aren’t fully naxx geared.
Even patchwerk will wreck most tanks that aren’t WB unless they grossly over gear the encounter, and even if they somehow survive (through RNG luck), the healers better be burning every consume to not go oom.

These people won’t even get to vanilla saph. They will never kill loath, patchwerk, or 4hm.
Especially loath - they will wipe because they won’t bring resist pots, guaranteed wipe without a near full bis group that is fully WB. Then their best 5 dps and healers will gquit and they will put the guild ‘on break until tbc’ because naxx is too boring or whatever excuse they make.
I’m not going through era gdkp logs of course they all take wbs because they will lose their cuts if they don’t
