I’ve noticed a change in the behavior of Mind Flay resists.
In Classic, when Mind Flay is resisted I would cast the spell again and it would typically hit as the chance of missing twice when hit capped is pretty low. In Classic TBC, when Mind Flay is resisted and I cast the spell again (any number of times) the spell continues to resist, no matter how many times I recast Mind Flay. Now, if I move my character slightly between casts, or cast something other than Mind Flay, then the next Mind Flay will hit.
Something definitely broke in the code regarding this spell… I don’t remember Mind Flay ever behaving this way in retail TBC.

I’ve noticed this as well, moving or casting a different spell stops it from endlessly resisting
Well this is rather annoying because if you are casting mindflay, its very likely that mind blast and shadow word death are on cooldown already… so I am force to moving my character. Not awesome.
Did Ramparts with my Shadow Priest the other day. Counted Mind Flay got resisted 7 times in a row against Vazruden’s mount, Nazan. Cast something else, landed a Mind Flay, and then back to having it resisted again several times in a row. No problem against the other bosses. Thought it must have been because I was three levels below. Gained a couple levels, did Ramps again, had no problem with Mind Flay until that same boss who was the same level as me, and about half my Mind Flays were resisted. This is the only boss where I notice this bug.
