Tbc resto pvp question

I am half a level from 70, and when I ding I plan on switching from feral to deep resto, for guild pve/arena team stuff. I have been accustomed to soloing and wpvp as feral for the duration of tbc.

So, I have 2 questions:

  1. How would you approach a duel (or 1v1 wpvp fight) as a solo resto druid? What should one expect/do? I am sure it is different than a feral druid’s approach…right?

  2. Do you have any tips/tricks about resto life? I dont plan to switch back to feral for a long time, possibly ever.

If you plan to pvp I would suggest not fully going into deep resto as feral charge is a powerful skill.

As for openers when not doing it in feral I would moonfire and either put a fairy fire or IS depending on who you are against. From that point there is no rotation and the flow of the battle will dictate your next actions.

Nice insights, thank you. Yeah, I liked the look of a basic arena build I found, which included feral charge. I use that thing so often right now, for lots of situations.

It sucks not having feral charge. Atm I am only 66 on my resto druid and into deep resto since im leveling with my friend who is a warrior. So many times it could have come in handy in wpvp, once im 68 im swapping talents points around since i would have enough points to do what I want.
