Tbc releases, resto druids everywhere

What other classes do you see getting way more/less popular the day tbc comes out?

Also, what hilarious fails do you see happening when these people reroll to be fotm. I can see a ton of new druids sitting in Pollies, Tons of druids sitting in tree form in 3v3 getting tee’d up.

I think some on the Horde might roll paladins.

Bold statement tbh. Think some alliance will go shamans?

Yep, and I hate playing popular classes but I probably won’t switch my main if there are character transfers/the servers convert so I’ll just keep going.

Blood elf pallies for sure and more alliance rerolling to horde.

Honestly I’d be okay with it. If the balance across the board swings way horde sided, I have no issues with going to a balanced server and avoid the horde sided ones and get that sweet sweet benefit of having no q times and get honor gear in a couple days.

Not necessarily classes, but I do wonder if there will be some attention given to BC Classic, around E-Sports.

Some people have been doing a good job of promoting Classic community-driven event, like the Classic Dueler’s League, for example.

Will there be BC Classic Arena World Championships, such as there are for BFA atm?

Honestly I bet there will be. This is obviously an opinion here, but I find classic pvp to be an absolute bore outside of the duels but even then it can be pretty one sided.

And also retail arena is also crazy boring to watch because almost every fight feels like it takes an eternity to finish and there’s so much flashy nonsense going on you are pretty much stuck to watching health bars the whole time.

But tbc and wotlk arenas, imo, are insanely fun to watch. You don’t know if the fight will end in 10 seconds or 10 minutes and normally even the long fights are at the edge of going one way or another at any second.

Warlocks…lots of warlocks!!!

Seriously tho, 2.0 prepatch they were brokeOP, and end of BC they were broke OP

I’ve seen others on these forums say that. I’ve also seen people say “everyone on retail plays Horde for the racials.”

It’s interesting to note that the first round there lasted less than 2 minutes, was Rogue Mage Priest vs MW, Lock, Mage, and both teams were Alliance.

I haven’t been playing retail since a couple of months after BFA came out, and am only watching this now because it was on the battlenet launcher, when I was spinning up Classic.

Yes that is true. And I’m not watching it right now, but I will say this, I’m guessing both if not one of the teams is destro mage. This expansion they finally brought back some of that old school burst, but for the last 12 years it’s been this 15 min fight nonsense every game, but still it feels way different imo.

And I’ll probably do a terrible job Explaining this on my phone. But the game is so spammy and so all over the place things like staying out of los is really not as big of a deal as it is in tbc (just an example) see when one team wins in retail so much spam nonsense is happening you think to yourself, even if you know what’s going on, “okay well someone messed something up not sure what but they lost”.

In tbc and wotlk, the way it’s paced, you can see every little mistake someone makes in real time and it’s way easier to follow.

Again just my opinion.

Warriors will be a lot less common. Paladins and Druid will be a lot more common.

Seems like it. The second match was RMPriest vs RMPally, and was a little over 3 minutes, with RMPally winning out.

Seems like mage has a lot of burst. Someone said something about some changes over last week, where people were stacking versatility, and taking less damage if they were stunned than if they weren’t, which made rogue less viable.

Yeah. I haven’t really played arenas much since WoD… a little in first season Legion.

I’m definitely looking forward to arenas in BC.

Druids still won’t compete with shamans.

Going to swap from bear to owl come tbc, can’t wait!

tbc will probably be on different servers, lots of people will be rerolling and starting fresh

im not even playing classic, tbc improved almost everything

A stupid amount of Undead Rogues with dreams of being double warglaive 4pve/4pvp set scumbags. Top 10 2v2 teams every season will all be Rogue/Druid.

I like to play the underplayed classes in MMOs. When tbc comes out I’ll definitely be switching, probably to ally shaman.

Definitely BE Pallys out the wahzoo.

I’ll be standing by watching blood elves get ganked while they level.

Unless they’re a guildie.
