TBC PvP servers will all look like Skeram

Because of Blood Elves.

Not just because of Blood Elves. I mean, Blood Elves will be a big part of it but in TBC Horde is simply BETTER. There are many reasons to roll Alliance in Classic, literally none in TBC.

It doesn’t matter, really. Battlegrounds will be dead content but they aren’t as essential in TBC as they are in Classic.

In a way, just a bookmark for myself to see if it actually happens.

it will indeed happen. And I am one of the players that WANTS to play TBC, but seeing how classic turned out…no. It’s not the mentality I want to play in a game that I once loved to be ruined by min/max.

Especially if 2.4.3 is used after the racials change. The alliance will be very outnumbered worse than classic. Vanilla private servers were still mostly faction balanced. Private tbc servers were always very horde dominated, so I’d expect blizzard tbc to be even worse.

I’m hoping all the people obsessed with it get burnt out eventually. I think they will and I’ve seen a lot of them drop just in the first few months. When all you do is buff and raid log and check wowhead for the absolute best items to make your DPS bar bigger, it gets pretty boring after the 16th run of the same raid.

I have a reason: Because I didn’t play ally in TBC. I know that has nothing to do with numbers or min/maxing or taking advantage of every possible thing you can regardless of it’s what you would actually want or not because want doesn’t matter when there’s only one optimal way to do things, but hey it’s good enough for me.

True, but I feel that is still insufficient. I feel that number is less compared to those that aren’t burnt out. It’s the same thing with retail.

Eeeh, personal choice like that would be viable if you could actually play as the 5% faction in Shadowmoon Valley. You can’t - you would literally spend 70% of your playtime dead.

PVP server problems.

Feel kinda sorry for y’all. I personally can’t wait though, looking forward to our usual PvE Mega Servers.

I absolutely hope so.

Yeah that has me pretty split on what to do, while I already play Horde and all my loot is on the faction im still very tempted to play a draenei shaman. I want to play pvp so I don’t exactly want to sign myself up for an unnecessary slaughters fest lol.

I love tbc but there’s reasons why the hordes popular in it which causes an imbalance.

I feel like there are many differing perspectives on this…

I’ll roll alliance for TBC (if I play it), for the same reason I rolled horde this time around, to avoid ret paladins as much as possible in my group. Everyone will roll a RET horde side whereas alliance rets wont be the “new stuff”.

In any case, server unbalance won’t be as big a deal in TBC because you can face same faction in arenas.

Alliance has dwarves, and thus we have a monopoly on the best beards. If you aren’t manly enough for a real beard, I suppose you could go with horde.
