The catch up system in MoP is soooooooooo good, you can carry a friend to full gear in a few hours and that alone is so freaking awesome; its also great for the fact that it keeps games going.
Question tho… What if and hear me out..
What if there are two sets types of arena loot.
Type 1 is just like what everyone is familiar with you need the points to buy it and it can be used any place..
Type 2 is no points, you just select the loot from a vender and can keep it in your bags, it can be equipped ONLY in arena. This allows the getting of whatever loot and trinkets your class can use, and allows for creative things.
This avoids scaling, its possible to have zone specific triggers like this.
Earpugs literally hit the nail on the head with this post and his video (Blizzard reps go watch it if you haven’t already). Even from a business standpoint this makes sense because we all know there are plenty off people who would literally not sub and play the game due to how much PVE is essentially mandatory. These changes do not hurt anyone or anything in a negative way and purely benefit the whole PVP community. Please Blizzard for the love of God apply these exact changes to improve the game for this section of the community.
These are the exact type of posts that destroys the game and make everyone leave. These clueless posts about how I am 3300 rating player are the biggest red flag. The reason why this game is dying is we have it being ruined by these players in there tiny little echo chambers making the game for them and not for the normal player who is the vast majority or used to be before they got driven out of the player base.
When you peel back all the deception of these game posts, you will aways see they players trying to angle into making the game full of more cheating, more way for them to make money with RMT. The OP is clearly a scammer.
I played every single day of S1-S11 classic arena I have more games played than 99.9% of players. Why would I have a false opinion on the game? Please let me know which part of what I said is bad, it is a good system that benefits all players in the game.
I am eagerly awaiting to hear why making arena more accessible and competitive is bad for the game, please let me know.
Also just so you know, the CURRENT arena point system HEAVILY favors all the R1 players because they will just spam win 5v5 arena and have full bis gear in 3 weeks where the REGULAR player would have NO arena points from being 1500 in 2v2. With the CATA system it wouldn’t matter the rating or bracket and ALL PLAYERS INCLUDING CASUALS would have the SAME GEAR AS THE R1S.
Everything you said was completely false. No one wants to play this game anymore because of exactly what you are suggesting. You are completely killing the player base. No one wants what you are saying, all you are doing is making the game for R1 mentally ill people like you to spam alts all season long at low rating making normal players quit the game. You want accessible for yourself to spam alts into low rated to medium rated players, that is terrible for the health of the community. We have to play against other low rating players and not you unending alts.
Heartbeat is cool and part of what makes TBC PvP unique, keeps players on their toes so they aren’t just running off scripts every bout and forces on the fly adaptation.
This lvl10 alt is completely right and has your number, OP. Mentally ill rank1 players are going to have multiple alts anyways, and can reset their rating using multiple methods. Allowing the general public to have access to multiple characters just means more meat to the grinder. The more players are stuck in BGs, the less they can be farmed by R1 players, just admit to your deceit already.
Agreed on it all. Changes were made in WOTLK werent they? Why cant we get some good changes for TBC.. Anything that boosts arena participation is a win!
How about a few heartbeats in your chest and reconsider trying to destroy what is left of nearly dead player base, so you can play alts against players who don’t even want to play against you.
Oh I see. Isn’t RMP pretty much the dominant comp in TBC? So, removing hearthbeat would make them even stronger, while negatively impacting warriors?
Or are warrior comps already better than RMP in TBC?
Anyway, I’m asking a bunch of questions, because I’m still kind of figuring out what I’d like to play. I’ve been mostly playing Druid and Warrior in Retail, so was thinking of that for TBC Anniversary also, but it isn’t too late to try something else, like maybe hunter or one of the RMP classes.
