TBC or Wrath Progression Server

For us Non-Cata enjoyers, this is the end (as dead as it is getting in WOTLK it basically already is the end) , let’s have a TBC or a Wrath server to start fresh on (keep joyous journeys or something, add rdf maybe)

Blizzard doesn’t care about crusade/wrath and has no plans to preserve them. They, for whatever reason, only care about classic. But they’ll learn the expensive way when cataclysm comes and most players unsub. Cataclysm is going to be as dead as a final phase, before its second phase.

I know im one of the few on the way out as soon as the prepatch is announced. I think there is gonna be a large chunk of the current players who are really interested in cata classic though. I would love to see a tbc era since its the least represented in the private server scene. As far as wrath goes we will have options if you wanna play it but it just wont be official servers. I think alot of people liked cata pvp as well as early heroics and the firelands raid.

It kinda makes me sad but it is what is is. shrug

I’m pretty sure, at least from reading the forums, most era players want to keep their chars. If they don’t, they will quit. So that would be kinda against it?
I think it comes down different interests. Some love to do LK at 30% until they die, others want fresh era servers, and others simply want new content (“Wrath+”). Don’t think Blizzard can please everyone here

proves they do not need a wotlk forever server games dead because people are bored of wrath making a forever server is just a waste of money if it was popular it would still be popular until cata drops then die not die months before it drops.

I never make predictions. But if Cata dies as the last classic expansion it won’t be because there was no wrath era servers. It will be because most classic players only want to play the trilogy. The vast majority who don’t want to play cata wouldn’t want to sit in the same expansion forever. Almost no one in the history of video games has ever played the same game forever no matter how much they loved it. And almost no one is never enough players to make a game profitable.

please i miss tbc

respectfully I would say Private Servers for Wrath would disagree with that notion

Pserver players are very niche dedicated community and all pservers (if they don’t fake numbers) would barely fit into one official server.
Just check Vanilla - pserver showed that many people want to play Vanilla forever - Era was and is still dead. Only new content could save that version.
The priest is accurate when it comes to official games.

I can’t wait for cata. Gonna be lit af.

forever wrath servers would have max 5k players if that. The reason private server wrath is popular is because it’s almost all EU pay to win. Buy all their gear off the pserver website. Seriously though. Anyone who has played a wrath server knows the US population is pathetic. It consists of almost all balkans. Just go to fartmanes website at 11 pm eastern and see the servers almost empty with 1-2 guilds raiding.

I mean, sadly this might be the way we have to play it. I just don’t see the point. I kind of want it done officially for wrath classic from blizzard.

Two month necro.
Touch grass.

Then do it now because they’re no going to be adding WotLK Era servers.
