Add TBC but keeping the Classic style, no changes. Only add Draenei, Blood Elves and maybe arenas.
Literally impossible to try keeping things like flying away from Outlands, as some of the areas require flying to get there. If youâre arguing for BC to be released as it was back then, I agree. If youâre talking about stripping down BC to try to make it more Classic-like, I highly disagree.
Add a taxi or a teleporter.
I would like each expansion to eventually have its own dedicated servers so people can explore those as they were then.
So TBC would be the next one on the list.
They can add high elfâs to the alliance in the new content release for classic.
Different wow timeline. They can get it right this time
They purchased new equipment and new servers just for Classic. They straight up have a separate infrastructure for it, they obviously have a bigger picture in mind. Also, theyâve already done the majority of the work by getting Vanilla to work with the new engine, something they stated would be much, much easier the second and third time around with BC and WotLK⌠Considering those were the most popular times in WOW, why wouldnât you remake them?
Vast majority of the time the reason was simply not enough time to invest into the idea, resources pooled elsewhere. Very rarely did ideas get fleshed out enough to warrant trashing.
And I guess weâd just throw all those flying mounts and rep grinds in the trash then? What youâre arguing for doesnât make sense. BC is a different experience than Vanilla. Trying to undo that when it was specifically designed in such a way would end up in a sullied version of the game.
Wow!! you are really salty.
Really now, every response from them is half empty lol
I know for a fact that the azshara BG was cancelled because it was too much like another BG (I forget specifically which one). Player Housing was scrapped due to the potential to troll with the placements of it.
You can say it was rare for the ideas to be trashed for good reasons, but in reality, if they werenât good enough to happen by release, or BC, or WotLK, they obviously werenât that important to the game.
Was that aimed at me? I wasnât aware explaining my view on the situation qualified as being salty. Good to know.
I really liked BC a lot and would love to replay it, but a new expansion would be fun too, as long as it was built off of similar ideas to classic and bears no resemblance whatsoever to legion or bfa.
But I think a pretty large number of players may want to stick with just classic, so we will have to see how it goes.
I would prefer BC and then a new expansion after that
Azshara was diverted resources into the core BGs, so in a thread yes part of what you say is true, however not the ultimate reason. Housing was due to time constraints, (the first iteration of housing had the trolling possibilities) and later left off the table because the game was focusing on purely its âwarcraftâ nature.

lol whatever floats your boat man. If you think thatâs salt, you should see my posts about there being no PvP gear vendors in modern Wow.
Well, theyâve proven they canât competently finish the unfinished zones. Theyâd best leave the way it is.
I donât care if they make a TBC server as long as they keep Vanilla.
Most pserver were vanilla and the closer they got to vanilla. More popular it was.
Thatâs my point in all of this. I donât know why people are hard stuck on No Changes⌠then go to⌠uhh⌠make new contentâŚ?
