Gas clouds in Nagrand can sometimes spawn in the air and near platforms, but some of the gas clouds in the air are not near any airborne platform making them unfarmable.
This accurately recreates the original behavior in Burning Crusade when it was released. From my recollection, 10%-15% of Nagrand elemental clouds were not accessible from any platform; they would spawn out of reach of the Mote Extractor. Some of these spawns actually orbited around and could pass within reach of the Extractor if you waited long enough.
I don’t think QA will consider it a bug if it reproduces the original behavior of the game at the time it was released. I bet if there is a bug fix, it would be in a later phase of TBCC, but I don’t remember this ever being “fixed”.
