My guild on Herod just cleared the first 2 bosses of mount hyjal immediately after it opened, moved to the horde camp, and wave 1 of trash never physically spawned.
We received the ingame notification it was active and showed 14 mobs alive, but we had to wait until the timer for wave 2 to spawn - which spawned correctly. Wave 1 never appeared, and we were forced to wait for the trash timer to run out for each wave, leading to 2-3 minute wait periods in between trash packs. When it was time for pack 8 to spawn, we also received a notification that Kaz’rogal spawned, before the event reset and thrall despawned.
After waiting a very long time for thrall to respawn, we restarted the event from wave 1, found that wave 1 was once again bugged, so we left to go to BT.
We have wasted at least 20-30 minutes and cannot complete mount hyjal, and have communicated with multiple other guilds on server who have not experienced this. So far this may be an isolated event.
We’ve had this exact same problem.
I ran all the way forward to the alliance camp from the first two bosses, and there was no wave other than the wave’s 2 through 7. The 14 mobs from wave 1 never physically appeared, at least no where we saw and could interact with them.
We did go back immediately after BT and the bug had resolved itself. This put us behind a good 45 minutes though.
We watched wave one spawn down the road a bit. It was the wrong group combination. It was 6 aboms, maybe 8 ghouls, and 4 necros. Then they despawned after a second or two.
Exact same problem today. First wave never came, event ended as soon as Kaz’rogal spawned. Waited and re-started and we could see the first wave spawn and instantly despaw.
This happened to our raid. Waited for Thrall to respawn, started again. Worked the 2nd time. Wasted 18 min.
Hello, can this bug be fixed? Happened 3 times tonight to us
Our guild has had this problem at least 3 maybe 4 times since phase 3 launch. Got it again on Friday, seems like Blizzard doesn’t care to fix it.
This is still a problem that hasnt been fixed. Pls for the love of god Blizzard can you do something

I got this bug just today on retail, so it’s not just classic. However, this is the first time I encountered it and I’ve been running this raid for transmog since TWW pre-patch went in.
