How do you feel about diluted professions? Want transmutes on an alt just pay $$. Want jewel crafting on an alt, just pay $$. Bliz greed changes everything.
Modern gamer mentality is ruining the game. Everyone wants to do everything and get everything right away. The game is supposed to be a marathon, not a sprint. But the vast majority of players treat it as if it is and get bored/burned out right away.
If you got t70 and cleared everything week2, then you’re not a casual
Bruh Curator could spawn 10 flares and Netherspites health could be 10x what it is. The raids are just not challenging mechanically. Thats just the game. This dumb idea that because we didn’t get the pre-nerf version of the bosses suddenly they’d be uper hard is incredibly stupid. The bosses are just easy because theres not alot going on
I’m still not Kara attuned. I guess I’m not casual enough. I also only have 1 70. Extra casual I guess.
Found the guy who never cleared tier 5 prior to the huge nerf bat given to the raids in either 2.3 or 2.4.
It’s not a modern game mentality. It’s a bunch of no lifers desperately trying to relive the glory days, and prove how good they are.were.
wow created a lot of egos back in the day. Small servers with only a handful of competent raiding guilds. Big fish in a small pond.
Celared T4, T5, & T6, only did a couple bosses in sunwell because the guild fell apart.
A modern day normal boss is more complicated than anything in any of those older tiers. There was somethings that were numerically challenging, but absolutely nothing mechanically challenging. Players have gotten exponentially better over the years, they could have released the pre-nerfed version of all of the bosses and we would kill them in less than 24 hours today.
We would just change how we approached the bosses, up to, and including, just stacking 16 hunters if necessary. They could go in and actively make the bosses numerically harder and we would still kill them in less than 24 hours.
If you cleared Kara in the first week of TBC release… you did in fact rush the content.
Hitting 70 doesn’t mean you’re hardcore
1821 rated on tbc currently in 2’s
Basically you rushed to 70 and started to do the content that was built for the skill level and internet of 2007 and burnt yourself out and think no one else is enjoying themselves?
Not everyone is playing to play the end game. I can go do all of those dungeons in retail right now. What I can’t do is play with these talents again in retail, to do the old zones in retail.
My siblings and I are making three paladins to be each spec and level up together and having a grand time.
You do realize that this exact problem you’re having is going to be the same with wrath no?
This content and that content isn’t new. All the information about what to do, how do it and how quickly it should happen is all there. People are going to sweep through that content just as easily.
Sorry if I upset you.
I honestly don’t feel like hitting 70 was “tryharding” if I quested the entire way and played like 2-3 hours a day for the first week of release…
This wasn’t an attack on anyone. I just don’t think tbc is as good as everyone says haha
McDonald’s is the undisputed GOAT of putting burgers in bellies.
Of course I realise. But the game is just a lot Better. Classes are way more enjoyable. Zones are better, questing is better, raids are good
It’s alot more fast paced which is a good thing.
I understand people love tbc but like personally, and I know others feel the same way, it’s kind of boring lmao. Been there done that kind of vibes. I forgot how average the content was.
Great for the first expansion released. Just not a good expansion
I love seeing this, it always makes me giggle… because their subs, are your subs… lol
And this time around MANY players spent 6 months farming Naxx in classic, so it isn’t like Wrath launch where most people never saw Naxx.
Wrath classic launch I think is going to suck, but Uduar will be cool.
Not sure, as it hasn’t really impacted me yet. WoW classic certainly isn’t the same as vanilla (ie. everyone rushing to endgame, harder to make gold with crafting) and I’ve come to accept that. I guess it’s good that I’m not leveling as quick as i did during vanilla and original TBC since what I’ve been hearing about the mining and blacksmithing scene is quite grim.
Classic in general doesn’t have the same growth as the original. Because of this, all we really have are a bunch of 30+ year old (mostly) people who are set in their ways, likely have too much time on their hands, and hold others to a high standard no matter the circumstance.
With that said, not everyone enjoy every state of the game. I thought vanilla was garbage, though I do think BC is far superior. With that said, wrath had better gameplay (rotations, class play), yet it had crap like dual spec and LFD that changed the mentality of the playerbase to a point that people expected you to have 2 gear sets and no one wa sheld accountable in randomly formed groups.
No expansion has been perfect, as they all have made questionable mistakes.
I never played TBC back in the day (made it to level 30s) but in TBC Classic I did almost every quest, completed 12/16 heroics, and killed Prince Melchazaar and Gruul. Feel like I’ve had my fill.
