Nightbane is resetting in combat during the ground phase and the air phase for no particular reason. He is being positioned in the middle of the path facing off the terrace. During air phase all raid members were within 40 yards.
We suspect that “Distracting Ash” casts may be causing the bug when Nightbane loses his Distracting Ash cast target halfway through the cast.
Please investigate.
I have seen this behavior as well. Happens when he loses target mid-cast. Rather than stop cast and select a new target, he resets. Halp blizz <3
We killed him after 16 attempts, during with he reset about 7-8 times like the previous posters said. The best we could figure was that bestial wrath was causing distracting ash to bug out and reset him. Our priest also chose not to use fade during the transitions to try to avoid any complications.
we killed him also after 3 or 4 trys. He reset 2 or 3 times randomly during ground phase.

We just had this same issue an unable to reset the raid nightbane is still in the airphase looking over karazan.

We ended up getting him down, he still reset on our first attempt of the week though. So whatever it was that is resetting the boss is still around, just not as prevalent as before.

Had this happen to us last night. Last 4 or 5 attempts we were about to down him and he’d fly off and reset. Happened during ground phases. Very maddening.
