It would make zero sense to not eventually have a hardcore mode of peak wow.
You could have just said, “I really like TBC and really, really want a HC version of it.” And it would be less contentious.
Otherwise, you’d really have to look at what sorts of metrics we’re talking about to say that TBC is considered peak WoW. Is it based on population? Numbers of active subscriptions? Profit margins? What?
And then you’d also have to maybe make an argument for why any sort of development effort/resource spend would result in an ROI.
It sure would - even if I think Vanilla was the best WoW ever - I’d so much like to go on to TBC.
I disagree, I prefer classic but maybe it would be worth testing the waters with TBC. I have said several times already in the hardcore fourms but I would prefer classic and hardcore to go off in its own direction to classic+. If you don’t know, classic+ is a continuation of classic but as if we never went to outland and continued on Azeroth.
From the discussion in these forums it seems that Classic+ is whatever people want
I would like to play the original expansions on a dedicated HC server. I did, unofficially, from 2019 onwards, but as said “real” HC would be much more fun.
problem is there’s flying in TBC.
if they get rid of flying, we can have peak wow.
My characters are ready to go through the dark portal and smack some hell boars bacl to hell.
WOTLK is Peak WoW
I am not gonna argue with that . And WOTLK have DK starting at level 58 so those people who have a huge problem restarting at level 1 when they die will be happy
