Keep this guy out of prepatch.
I dunno where the gold idea came from either, that was cata 4.0.3 when everything but emblems of frost got converted into gold, and frost got converted into justice points

No bug = no problem.
All I know is at least on the Beta you can convert 1 mark for 185 honor. Take this with a grain of salt though its only the beta though. Your honor does carry over and the marks as well, they’re moved into the currency tab. I just copied an alt over to test and see.
