TBC & Flying - Why do people hate it?

After that you’ll be taking flight paths anyways.

I guarantee that a flying mount can make it in half the time if not faster…and again yes I agree flight paths also do the same thing just not to the same extent as flying mounts flight paths at least fly around a bit a flying mount you mount up point you toon in a direction and beeline it to your destination

But the time isn’t even the major issue.

At least with a flying mount I’m actually controlling my character and paying attention to the game. Flight points I’m just hopping on one and going AFK.
