Blizzard doesnt confirm things a year out. They need to be able to back out if they decide to change things.

You will receive no confirmation until at least naxx patch.

It’s a shame I won’t be playing then until then… if it ends up being TBC Era that is. If not… then forget it.

They need to confirm now, regardless of how they prefer to do it.

It’s not worth it.

What are you gonna do when all your reps are maxed, and your profs are no longer in demand?

What if not enough players stick around and you cant do BT or SW anymore? Or run BGs and arena?

BC just wasn’t designed to be played forever. Why can’t you just enjoy the fact that you get to run through it one more time?

Ain’t nothing getting confirmed like this.

They don’t confirm in retail, they sure as heck ain’t confirming here.

By that logic, neither was vanilla. Yet there are vanilla Era servers.

We deserve the same respect.

Also your argument is nonsense, there’s tons of stuff to do in TBC forever and one server can sustain a populations. Even if that wasn’t the case, we should find out by them implementing it. If you don’t think there’s enough in TBC for it to stay interesting, then don’t stay on a TBC Era server, it’s as simple as that.

this :expressionless: it’s simply too far out for blizzard to commit to anything

They dont need to do anything. Enough people will play without it.

TBC is arguably more replayable than classic considering the improved class balance, flying, additions to PvP and WPvP.

Unlikely but nonetheless, if you played the current era servers, you’d see that you’re playing against the same exact group every single queue. There will always, always be enough players.

They need to do it because it’s the right thing to do. Not because not enough people will play if they don’t.

Comparisons to Vanilla/Classic are moot because that version of the game is no longer available in retail (and classic cata for that matter).

No there isn’t. The content is absolutely finite, and I believe you would get just as bored as most would. Maybe you would hold out longer than most, but not forever.

Look of there was definitive way to verify that thousands of players would absolutely play perma-BC server for at least ten years, then maybe…maybe.

Until then I don’t think it’s worth it for Blizz to do it. After all, if it doesn’t end at some point, it’s not really special.

I can tell you’re extremely upset and very emotional.

I’m just pointing out that you’re getting another chance to go through BC, which is awesome. And that a permanent BC server would just end up as dead as all the other classic servers that closed.

Companies don’t care about your sense of morality. They care about money.

Of course this TBC will become era.

I mean it makes the most sense. They created classic era, but the game went on. Now they can start fresh and end up with tbc era. Then after 8 years from now or so youll get another fresh which will become wotlk era.

It’s milking content until it requires you to reup the cow and do it again.

You want Blizzard to announce TBC era when they announced Classic fresh 1 week before it was happening?

Then they don’t get my money. I’ve already cancelled my sub, waiting to see if they announce TBC Era before I can’t post on here anymore.

Don’t bother telling me Blizzard doesn’t care about losing my sub. I already know that, but I’m still not going to give them my money anymore until they do what is right.

Yes, because of what they did last time at the end of TBC Classic. Lots of players are waiting for a confirmation one way or another in order to decide if they will bother with the new servers.

They don’t know my guy, literally obvious.

I agree I refuse to start if it’s going to wrath.
