TBC Controller Support Only Working While Wired

Hello, dealing with an odd issue while trying to use an Xbox Controller with TBC.

I use /console GamePadEnable 1 to enable, and while my controller is plugged into my PC via usb, the functionality works. But when I attempt to connect wirelessly to my PC, the functionality stops working in TBC, while still working in other games. Has anyone else experienced this or have suggestions?
