TBC Classic ; You have been disconnected BLZ51901016

Hi everyone, I did search the code of this error here and tried all the possible solutions with no luck. My situation seems to be a bit different than usual.

I cannot log in to character screen on the TBC Classic but:

-I can log in fine to regular classic
-I can log in fine to PTR classic

I dont get it, I tried uninstalling game, reinstalling, checking for errors. Deleting addons folders, flushing DNS, flushing winsocks, reseting router, release and renewing dns.

I’m kind of out of ideas, this has been going since official TBC Prepatch and I would like to play.

Hi Lutz

Can you create a DXDiag system report:

The second section of page has DXDiag report instructions - we don’t require the MSinfo report.

That will be a wall of text. If you have issues pasting on the Forum here go ahead and put it up on pastebin.com. Provide the link code portion of the URL - example below.

(The green bold portion at the end of this example link: https://pastebin.com/Qk28Ed1P <=== this code)

Alternately you can place the link in a Preformatted Text box. Paste the link in the chatbox - then highlight it. Click the preformatted text button along the top of the chatbox - looks like this </>

Will look like this example afterwards:

https://pastebin.com/xxxxxxxx

Hi there, it’s done here is the link HZ2EVWRG

That error is often caused by unsupported hardware. The 2600k and 750ti should have no issue with either Classic or Classic BC. It may be that your Nvidia driver is a little dated. Also looks like you are a bit behind on Windows. Let’s get Windows right up to date.

Type Update in Windows search box. Click on Check for Updates. Will open the Windows update pane. If you see any updates waiting for installation go ahead and install. If you don’t see anything click the button “Check for Updates”.

Let me know. You would want to continue clicking that Update button until you truly have no updates. Ignore the “You’re up to date”.

Well I updated windows and all the drivers including Nvidia’s. No luck still same situation

Did you try a selective startup while doing your troubleshooting:

Closing Background Applications - Blizzard Support (battle.net)

Just tried … did not work… What I do not understand is why the PTR and Regular Classic works fine. It doesn’t make sense.

I don’t recall seeing any other reports involving that particular error since patch - actually in recent memory. Likely not a game issue - we need to look close to home.

This support list:

BLZ51901016 - Blizzard Support (battle.net)

Everything was done on there correct - in particular step 3 would be my suspect.

Yes I found that thread too and tried everything in there. I just tried another thing with no luck which was to make sure I had a rule for the game in windows firewall… no luck there also.

Thanks for trying with me Tratt

What antivirus are you running there Lutz. You mention Windows firewall - is it just Defender or do you have something else.

Just the regular OS firewall and defender so nothing special there

Alright this is officially a puzzle. Let’s think about the connection next. Describe to me how you connect - everything in the line to outside the house. Looks like you have a Killer Bigfoot adapter and a Intel adapter. Do you know which is active?

Run a WinMTR test:

The instructions are on this Blizzard Support page:

Once you have the tool open enter the IP number for the server group you play on in the WinMTR box then hit start.

137.221.105.2 (West Coast)
24.105.62.129 (Central - Chicago)

103.4.115.248 (Oceania)

(only the number - include periods)

Have that running when you try to connect. Then use the tool button that copies Text to your clipboard. Paste that on your thread here.

*You may need to alter or remove any URL addresses to paste on forum. You could also place the test results in a code block:

Open chat box - paste test then right click - “select all”. Should highlight everything. Then press the preformatted text button along top of chat box. Looks like this </>.

Yep got the same issue here. Tried everything above as well.

Did you ever get it to work Lutz??

Played fine yesterday, logged out and tried to log back in last night and am now experiencing this. Nothing seems to be fixing it.
