Nobody “hates” keyboard turning. It’s just a really good indicator of someone who is not a good player. Because there is zero reason to turn slowly rather than at whatever speed you want.

What if they want to turn slow? You say they can turn at any speed they want then goof on them turning slower than mouse turner… your confused
Until I see a survey of everyone in the raid saying they ‘had fun’ done by someone other than a GM, officer or other person they won’t answer dishonestly to because of fear of retaliation, I’m not really convinced anyone except the shaman ‘has fun’ doing this stuff. Especially not the dps.
I’ve endured groups with people playing gimmicks because I had to placate a guildie or really needed loot/a quest done and I’m sure they walked away thinking everyone ‘had fun’, too.
It doesn’t work, that’s the problem. It is a worse way to do something that you need to do quickly, and as content gets harder and more demanding on your reflexes and movement keyboard turning will NOT cut it. If you keep keyboard-turning your way into Wrath and you need to get behind a Sindragosa ice block quickly or you get a Lich King defile under you and your booty is keyboard-turning your way out of it, you’re out of luck. And depending on how many expansions forward these classic servers go, it just gets harder and harder from here on out.
People have been clowning others for keyboard-turning, clicking and backpedaling since actual vanilla in 2005. It’s a very poor habit for serious play. Break it.

I will say this is interesting and I give you credit for your optimism but I wouldn’t do this outside of a Guild because because I don’t think this type of thing would work in any type of pug whatsoever.
Still though I do think it is can cool that you’re doing something unique And I’m happy you and your Guild are enjoying it I don’t think it’ll ever be commonplace.
But still it’s a fun little thing

I did ask everyone if they had fun. Whether it was hard or inconvenient. Everybody seemed happy 
(and no I’m not the GM)
I don’t know if ‘easy’ is quite right way to categorize ZA. Easy if your group is T5-T6, grueling when you have a group in Kara gear. Actually one of the people on the group had never seen the end of a ZA until this run since ZA pugs tend to be horrible.
You probably get carried too.
