Tazavesh: Streets of Wonder Bugs

Got to Mayza’s Oasis and some of the mobs from outside while giving the bouncer the password. We brought them inside to start the RP then afterwards someone clicked on one of the instruments and didn’t get said instrument.
The entire dungeon was then just dead because we couldn’t do this boss encounter. This was also an issue when the dungeon launched almost a year ago.

So just to verify did any of your groups bring some of the mobs that continue to spawn after the trading quest inside? Or did the event just appear to bug out upon someone picking up an instrument and it disappearing. Just curious to know if that is a common factor that will help prevent this bug.

We did kind of start while in combat, though we were able to reset once group disbanded. That is to say the event started when I was the only one left in party. Apparently someone else I know said they moved on to other bosses and came back and it worked.

We had somebody pick up an instrument while in combat which seems to trigger the bug. Did it again, this time killing everything before even entering the club and it worked fine.

Thank you both very much for the replies :slight_smile: My group and I will feel much more confident running the dungeon knowing that we should clear the waves before entering the Oasis. Hopefully someone at Blizzard has seen this and can recrate the bug to eventually fix it.

Happened to my group as well. Having one dps run out seemed to trigger it, but still really lame and completely squashed the key.

yeah blizz just bricked my 15 key i needed for ksm and 4 slot 278 vault with this one… we were ahead on time no deaths. ran to next boss killed it no issue. ran back. still bugged. group left. key bricked. kinda ruined my evening of gaming, just logged off. i was psyched to be tearing through it np. how is this a year long issue not fixed before they made it a part of ksm and vault rewards?

I believe this is one of those things were Blizzard did very little internal testing.(probably because there focus was on the last 3 bosses of the raid)

Across both keys there are numerous bugs and wildly inconsistent balance that doesn’t come close to lining up with the difficulty level of any other keys in SL. We also have the bug that causes the last boss of Streets to some times just not use double technique of you push his first Divide quickly enough XD

I wouldn’t complain as much if the two Taz keys were not requires to KSM. I also think the less then great difficulty might have something to do with why it only takes 2k rating to upgrade gear to rank 12 rather then KSM like last season.

Hopefully the coming MDI calls some attention to just how borked these two keys really are when it comes to difficulty.

Data point: Exact bug still in place currently on life Retail.

Same thing just happened to me on a +11. Of course we went left at the start so we were almost done with the dungeon when this bug killed our run… Really annoying after waiting 30 min to find a tank and then doing almost all of the dungeon. My key was depleted and an hour wasted (plus close to another hour to level my key back up)

I’ve had this bug happen a few times across Streets keys of various difficulties. It seems to be (my guess, anyway) that it’s tied to pulling the non-elite mobs into the Oasis before killing them. One time, we only had four instruments spawn, and were able to make it work by having one of the DPS run out of the Oasis, then the remaining four pick up instruments to start the fight. However, that same strategy failed on a different key, and we ended up losing an additional instrument from it. Seems like maybe a timer should just be put on the event to start the boss fight a set time after entering the Oasis?

this just happened to my key tonight we ran in and the guitar instrument wasn’t there we all tried to logout and log back in to see if it helped but no luck completely killed our key we couldn’t get the boss

Pulled trash from outside into the instrument room. Bugged 1 instrument. RIP key.
