Are all tauren just not REALLY not smart?
I’m curious cause I saw a kobold shoot frostbolts at me but then I realized tauren can’t
so Blizz is saying tauren are dumber than kobolds? that would honestly explain so much
you gotta be pretty stupid to think Mage = “err race smart”.
Taurens are a druidic and shamanistic race, their culture doesn’t have arcane wielders.
If every race can be every class, there would be no racial identity.

I don’t know, Night Elves are probably the least intelligent race from an objective stand point. First during the war of the ancients most night elves were so dumb that they thought their queen was just captured by the legion because she could never do anything bad. Not only that, they thought that making deals with demons was seriously a good idea. They caused a ton of bad stuff because of their lack of intelligence. Then after that despite all the previous wars the night elves have been in, they never thought of a way to fireproof their world tree if they were attacked. Despite multiple attempted burnings on another world trees in the past. They never thought they should have some way to prepare for this. I could go even more in depth explaining a ton of other events that shows their lack of intelligence but that would take more time. Night elves are the stupidest race.

Taurens are probably my favorite wow race followed by trolls and gnomes. They’re just very calm and down to earth. You just have to respect that.

Eh, think about it like this.
Tauren are Wisdom + Constitution.
Gnomes are Intelligence + Dex
Humans are Flexible.
Goblins are Dex + Intelligence (substituting for wisdom, because shaman).
Also, nobody wants to see the Tauren Fire Mage named Flammabull.

being a mage requires a reasonably high intellect. There’s a reason that the mages that constantly study and expand their knowledge in dalaran are better than the kobolds in elwynn who barely know how to toss out fireballs.
this train of thought is also supported by gameplay literally having intelligence as their main stat.
but tauren not being mages is probably just them considering arcane magic “unnatural” when they’re all about nature.
Yeah well. We have orc and troll mages. They still don’t know basic architecture, and yet somehow manage to grasp the complexity of Arcane magic.

Didn’t they start with the least intellect in classic? I seem to remember gnomes having more int and Tauren having more stamina. You’d think the size of the tauren would make them have bigger heads with bigger brains.

And other races haven’t? Orcs killed many Draenei because their leader was corrupted by the Legion, similar to the Night Elves.
It was pretty stupid that a couple catapults burnt down a tree miles away in the ocean.
